Should Maple Story have a age cap ?
Whats to young & what's to old ?
I have a family member who is 73 yrs old who plays maple story.
He doesn't talk to many people but just enjoys the game.

too young is 6 and too old is 20. old poeple should play something else that's more fun than maplestory.
It's easy to fake your age on the internet, it's not going to work unless you have to enter your Social Security Number. Then you wouldn't be able to lie about your age. Although, not many would like to give out that piece of information so the age cap thing would definitely not work.
Like they're gonna kick off the people that can afford the most NX xD

I don't care how old he is. I help him as much as he helps me,
I have all his account info and help him with Test & some quest.
Other than that he plays the game solo.
@Hoshinoushi: It may not be the case in most situations but in video games at younger ages you feel older and you try to act like it to. Meaning they think they are big and bad in a video and pretend they own everything.

I'm 13 right now and I know some friends of mine that are 17ish and believe me, I'm more mature than them, and saying that, lot's of older people are immature due to over-rage, spamming, short tempered... etc.

Agreed- decades of experience and wisdom is something that should be ignored, nay, shunned! A 16 year old is far wiser than anyone having lived a full life raising a family, perhaps fighting in wars, changing careers, starting a business, burying their loved ones, etc...

There shouldn't be an age ceiling, but rather an age floor.
Though I'm well aware that MapleStory is a game for ages 10+, at least 30% of the population acts like they're 7.

In all seriousness, who cares how old someone is, as long as they are enjoying their hobby.
It should, but kids would just lie about their age anyway.
Probably not even going to work, anyway. There's kids that really don't even need their parents permission (nice parenting, huh) and can just easily lie about their age. Plus, when you register you have to be like 13 anyway, when most of us played at around the age of eight.
14+ because i feel like thats the age where you'll know what it feels like to get hacked so u won't hack other people
I don't understand why there needs to be an age CAP. There should be an age restriction for the younger crowd if anything.
Not an age cap, but an age limit is needed.

This is "A game," hence it should be played for enjoyment.
