Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was feeling nostalgic and visited Basil for the first time in a while today. I have an old screenshot from December 2006, I really loved this layout and that we could chat with our characters. I have fond memories of making friends and selling/buying many items on BM and thought I'd share this!

Man... I miss that. Ever since BasilMarket died I'd visit every once in a while and every time it's just disheartening. Long live the memories though ?
yes. i loved seeing our characters in the chat. i recall putting in the ign and it would automatically sync with the rankings. i also miss when this site was alive and looked like this:

the home screen used to be so chill. now it kinda comes across as bland and idk... soulless?:
is kind of weird to still use this site. seems like a ghost town and there doesn't seem to be any motivation to bring people over to liven it up at all. makes me wonder why it was revived in the first place
@lipperman That was the OG BasilMarket layout. I understand Mr. Basil wanting to spice things up, but sometimes you just gotta listen to what the community wants. If Nexon ever comes out with an Classic MS server, it would be dope to get a Classic BasilMarket site.
@Mequar I miss this layout too. It was easy to see at a glance, and everything was organized the way you needed it to be in order to use the site. I think it's sad that BM died off, even with the auction house I often see the need to advertise items for sale.
I think the site url also used to be basilmarket.net back in those days :+)
