Quantum Chemistry question

Can someone explain quantum chemistry to me in simple terms?
I know so far that:
Principle- the row you're in
Angular- circle, flower, dumbell, etc

I'm kinda iffy on magnetic and spin quantum number though. I don't get the whole -1, 0, +1 sublevels and stuff like that.

Also, electron configuration is pretty confusing to me.
