It's not the NX trade feature that has killed auctions. NX trades is just being able to trade the Surprise Style Box NX.
Pretty much, Basil's auction system went through a couple of changes, and nobody bothered to go back to it even after it reverted back to something similar to its original form.

Leveling is easier these days and people zoom by the lower levels = no need to buy stuff from auctions.

I'm asking what changed to cause more people to buy NX and stop using auctions (in my day only about 20% of people actually bought NX).

And when did they start adding so many classes?
In my entire time playing Maple, the only change was adding 4th job and pirates.

1. Idk. People just enjoy pimpim their characters. I for one, do not like NX outfits. All of my equips are standard or event based.
2. Probably cause they use the NX "trade" feature of maple. Which again, I dont like and dont use.
3. Thats life. Without new content people would lose interest. This is true for most any game, not just maple.
4. No clue. There are other training areas to choose from.
