Shark Tooth Skipper Cape Trade/PC

Well here's the situation:

I have a slightly above-average

Shark Tooth Skipper Cape
Clean&Untouched.

Somebody offered to trade a pretty amazing

3L Unique Scarlion Hat (STR)
+6% INT / +6% DEX / +6% ALL STATS

for the cape. Thing is, I kind of want cash (or mesos, rather).

My questions are:
1. Is this trade worth it?
2. Which item is easier to liquidate (sell for pure mesos)?

Keep in mind that I am in Demethos, which - sadly - is rather dead.

Also, from my understanding 1.5b is a fair price for the cape. Can somebody confirm?

the scar helm seems pretty good, useable for all classes and gives pretty decent stats, sharktooth only for pirate i think so i think its a good deal

So could someone give me a side-by-side comparison of the values of the two items?
200 dream fragments do NOT cost 1.1bil. I got 200 just by strolling around the FM for 550m, and I've seen the recipe unsold for 100-200m.
Above that, no one who has any common sense actually buys those 20m+ SICs.

Making a cape costs very close to 1b if you know what you're doing, which you should if you're making one in the first place...
THIS. It cost me between 1-1.1b making my Falcon Wing Sentinel Cape.

600m for 200 Dream Fragments
200m for the Recipe
Somewhere around 200m for 15 SICs
And around 60m for 10 Purple Powders

So rough estimate would be 1,060,000,000 but not exact. You just gotta know who to buy from. Botters sell the cheapest fragments but it may take a little looking.

So is it a fair trade for the Scarlion Hat? o_O

Sorry I really don't know prices - I've just come back from a two-year break from MS.
