So has anyone gotten the male louie-roid yet? I have enough coins in three days to get it and I've only seen what the female one looks like. I know they look similar to the npcs but I was just wonder if anyone has it yet

@mrsatan: It is a confirmation. She got the information from a GM.
She also forwarded our concerns about how unfair those requirements are, so we'll just have to sit tight and see what Nexon's course of action will be.

Welp, I have 2659 coins to spent on the other stuff in the reboot shop I guess.

Update: According to a maple volunteer in the offical forums, finishing the event is apparently a requirement. Idk if this is a confirmation but it certainly doesn't help.

the quests are not unreasonable.

what is unreasonable is not mentioning the androids, like person above me said.

i've been farming the coins on my kinesis, not my sizzling character.
it's too late for me to finish the quests on my sizzling character and farm that many coins.

what is frustrating is not having all of the information needed for something like this!

@09080706l: I don't think people are complaining that the quests are unreasonable. People are complaining that Nexon didn't mention at all that you'd have to do the quests to be able to buy the androids. This sucks for people who have been farming coins for the past few days only to realize that if they didn't do the questline then they can't buy it.

Nexon gets an A+ for infuriating the player base yet again.

i still think sizzling santa characters that reached level 200+ before the event is done should also get the medal, do it like they did the pink bean event its only fair they do it that way

Why on earth would they put an Android for sale and never say that you need that freaking mendal!

I think the quest is pretty reasonable considering you're awarded generously with 3 2x coupons and 500 RP daily on top of access to buying the androids after all the work. Here's what's unreasonable though:

Nexon had the quest glitched for two entire weeks, then they introduce this android. Meaning:
1) You can't miss a single day of Santa's PQ since the fix. (those starting now are screwed)
2) 3k coins on top of not missing a single day of PQ

I mean, I've got the Master Santa medal already and I'm saving up for the android, but I can't help but feel bad for the people who were unfortunately glitched for the first two whole weeks of reboot.

Guess that is the part that is sort of unreasonable. The droids weren't even in the shop for the entire time, so people who wanted them automatically had less days to do the quests.

nexon just wants us to play maple like a no lifer during christmas.

@helpingly: It is certainly not unreasonable.
The rewards from Sizzling Santa quests are
> 3 1 hour 2x drop coupons
> 3 1 hour 2x exp coupons
> 500 Reward Points
> 50 Reboot Coins
> 1 4 hour 50 att/m.att buff
And this is per day, all you have to do is click on each of the helpers. Unlocking the ability to purchase a shop android is a bonus on top of that.

@swarmx53: exactly they didn't tell anybody anything about the requirements, they must extend this stupid event. how is it that the sizzling santa event lasts until dec 30th but the deadline for purchasing the android is jan 27th? on top of that they nerfed the xmas boxes several times making it nearly impossible for some people to get enough coins too..

its the xmas holidays people have a life to live, this is way too much of a grind

during the pink bean event.. people that trained their pink bean to lvl 200 were able to get a medal after the event.. does that apply to the sizzling santa event too?

@endurance: You would still get all of the same rewards, but would miss out on the burning character effect for 3 level ups from 33-150. But yeah, it takes about 2 weeks to finish and the event is over in 9 days, so there isn't enough time to get the medal that supposedly unlocks louie roid. They gave a pretty tight time frame too, considering they added this in for kinesis and didn't even tell anyone what the requirements were to buy it....

@swarmx53: that surely is not fair.. so theres absolutely nothing special for anyone that gets to 200+ during the sizzling santa event either? i want proof of all this and if its true i'll just forget about this crap and play guild wars 2

@endurance: It's kind of explained in the patch notes for reboot, but basically you have initial quests to recruit 7 members, then you do daily missions 3 times a day 30 times. If you haven't started yet, its too late to finish and you shouldn't bother, really...

so i have about 2.6k reboot coins right now.. and your telling me i have to finish the sizzling santa quest line too?? is there any guide on basilmarket on how to do it? i know there was one for the star world one

So then what would be the case for people who accepted sizzling santa on a mule character and never decided to stock up on coins? Since the event is per maple id, I wish completing it on whichever character you chose allowed you to buy the roid on any other character, but I doubt that this game would be so generous.

@solate you have to do 30 missions. Can only do 3 a day.

I still don't know how to get the medal, I finished all the quests and did the Santa's Mission.

@helpingly Except that getting 3k coins isn't that hard with reboot. Just getting 150 coins per day from boxes would only take you 20 days.

@supmanlol: At the price they set it at, and the restrictions put on the quest, I would say that it is pretty unreasonable, especially since the quest itself is just as arduous. Not the most insane thing out there, but definitely not worth it in my opinion.

I think the first comment is correct. I saw a person with the Master Santa medal with the Louie-Roid (F).

@diabloh: Pretty sure the first comment is a troll for the same reasons that you just stated. I wouldn't know because I don't have nearly enough coins, but I would recommend that you send a ticket or at least see if anyone else in the official forums have the same problem.

@solate: Didn't see that posted anything, and how would that be fair considering the medal is only obtainable below level 150 and is untradeable itself.
