Phantoms, phantoms, phantomsyou still out there?
I know we got an indirect Nerf. For me, in Renegades, I am starting to see a decline in Phantom population. The population itself is...lower already (cough: Renegades: cough). But are you still sticking through thick and thin, still choosing to main that Phantom? Still funding it?
Or are you Open for Options... o.o
Or did you rage quit after the Nerf.
Or are you just here randomly LOL.
I am still loving Phantom. The play style is great. I just do not get bored with it. I tried a hand at MANY classes and I can honestly, I always itch to play my Phantom. How about you?

Well hello buddy. =] Only Phantoms I met at SDH are MisterGlue, Dreamze and you thus far. I think I see a few in FM but they are all stopped at level 200 and hang in Henesys or FM all day lol. But hey we shall boss sometime my fellow Renegades Phantom.

and honestly over two years since they patched double tempest, it's a remnant of a fix to an abuse.
old-time phantoms who played since it's release know this already.
because the skill doesn't go automatic on CD until the player ends the skill/time finishes but the activation has been sent to the server preventing actual damage in the second set from being resent/continued,
people then abused that interval and/or are autistic by having that unconscious urge to double tap in the first place.
honestly, there shouldn't even be a complaint about the second tempest not dealing damage as long as your \first\ activation worked as intended.
I will say one thing, it is kind of hard to change classes if you invested the time and money into it which is really just
double money since time = money. There are way to many untradables that it makes it almost impossible to switch on
a heavily invested class without being half as efficient except from something like luk>dex class. Though I feel in love with
my phantom so I will be with her through everything no matter what and she is my last funded character.

I was more so referring to the reactivation glitch as mentioned by @reverexx2
I'm working up my link skills because I plan on maining my phantom in the near future, regardless of nerf. Best way to get the fun out of all adventurer classes, while still sticking to thief.
Plus the story, plus perma haste, plus cards.

if you're still referring to the second quick cast of tempest, it's been known since they patched it.
we were referring to the fact that tempest will stop dealing damage once autojudgement has been triggered at 40stacks.
same goes with hurricane itself.

It's a legit bug; I can still do it. It works with any skills that you need to hold to cast and that has a cooldown, such as Phantom's Tempest, NW's bind, etc. It's more input/output lag rather than a bug, though.

he probably has auto judgement toggled on and his cards hit 40 while doing tempest.

For as long as Phantoms were out, there was a glitch in which after casting Tempest, if you press the skill key immediately again you could cast another Tempest that did not do any damage. Coul you be referring to that?
Also, I love phantoms to death. They are the best class, really. It's just that Maplestory isn't meeting my standards for entertainment.
