Lgt New 4th Job Attacking Skill for my Phantom D

Hello fellow Phantoms friends,

**I am looking to "Steal" a new attacking skill. I would like to switch up from using Milles and our Penombre Combo. Of course, I am keeping Iron Body, Rage and Cross Surge =D. I would like to switch up my training at Second Drill Hall. I am not worried about Holy Symbol at this time, because I have a Kanna and Bishop that I will be training with. So, I would like to do some serious damage to Knights but also looking in switching up my current skill set. Below, are some of the skills that I would like an opinion on to manage for training and maybe for bossing <3.**

Broadside (Corsair/Job 4)
LV30: MP Cost: 9, Damage: 325%, Number of Hits: 3, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Defense Ignored: +40% - 5th Bomb on Bosses: Damage: 800%, Number of Hits: 4, Critical Rate: +100% - Attack Rate: 360 ms, Duration: 1100 ms

**^^ I do not know if we can steal Broad Side-I have Rapid Fire though. I thought I saw this for available skills to steal from. But any Phantom friends can help on this? If such, it sounds like a good mobbing skill but more-so a fantastic bossing skill if it adds 100% Critical <3.**

Eight-Leg Easton (Corsair/Job 4) Good for Training
Summon an expert marksman octopus to fusillade the enemy. Continuous discharge of firearms.
LV30: MP Cost: 55, Bullets Consumed: 4, Damage: 649%, Number of Hits: 4, Max Enemies Hit: 8

**^^^I never seen a Phantom with this skill....lol. But 649% x 4 on 8 monsters sounds pretty good. I do really decent with Showdown =D.**

Cannon Bazooka (Cannoneer/Job 4) Good for Training
Fires a powerful cannon full of compressed gunpowder to burn enemies ahead of you to the ground.
Level 30: MP Cost: 75, Damage: 545%, Max Enemies Hit: 8, Number of Attacks: 4

**^^^I seen this, it sounds good to me. The range is nice. Is this preferable over Eight-Legs?**

Cannon Barrage (Cannoneer/Job 4) - Good for Bossing
Fires multiple cannonballs at once, focusing on one enemy ahead of you. Bonus Critical Rate and Ignore DEF applied. The bonus critical rate only applies for this skill.
Level 1: MP Cost: 45, Number of Attacks: 4, Damage: 455%, Bonus Critical Rate: 1%, Ignore DEF: 5%
Level 30: MP Cost: 63, Number of Attacks: 4, Damage: 600%, Bonus Critical Rate: 15%, Ignore DEF: 20%

**15% Crit + and ignore 20% does sound good with 600% x 4 and could this be faster or better than Broadside?**

Showdown
Attacks up to 6 enemies and provokes them, making them untouchable. Provoked enemies grant more EXP and items. Bosses suffer half of the effect.
Level 20: MP 40, Consumed Star: 3, Provoke up to 6 enemies with 618% by attacking 2 times. Provoked enemy ?becomes untouchable. For 120 sec, acquiring EXP and Item Drop Rate increases by 30%. Half of the effect for bosses.

**I currently use this to get bonus EXP but ehh...kills slower with only 2 lines at 618%. Keep or nah?**

Hurricane
Launches arrows at a tremendous speed, like a catastrophic rainstorm. Hold down the skill key to fire arrows continuously. You may move while using this skill.
LV30: MP Con: 5, Damage: 350%, Movement Speed: 100%, Range: 400%

**Is this better than Rapid Fire O_O. 350% but I don't know if the range or speed is different. Is it better.**

Buccaneer Blast
Collect a powerful amount of energy with the Super Transform to shoot down enemies in front of you. When Energy Charge is active, attack with the more powerful Double Blast instead.
LV30: MP Cost: 46, Damage: 565%, Number of Hits: 4, Max Enemies Hit: 10 - Energy Charge, Double Blast Damage: +20%

** ^^Looks OP lol. Should I?**

Dragon Strike
Summon the soul of a sleeping dragon to attack your enemies. When Energy Charge is active, this skill does additional damage.
LV30: MP Cost: 43, Energy Cost: 180, Damage: 770%, Number of Hits: 2, Max Enemies Hit: 10 - Energy Charge damage bonus: 10%

**Would definitely do some big numbers but 770% x 2 is less than 565% x 4 and so forth. Don't know whats best LOL**

Please let me know your trials with the skills and what I should look into. Thanks!
like i said.
solo = bazooka
party = showdown.
botters = miles back'n'forth / broadside / mancha.

bazooka allows you to clear the map with minimum movement aside from pulling yourself from the middle of the screen where the lag increases as you see more drops via knockback.
showdown has a decent area of coverage which is why you'd use it in a party to cover half a map, or if you're splitting it w. some1 else..
using showdown to solo is actually quite dumb since you'll have to move to each ends of the map and actually feels slower.
it's okay for NL cus they hit more distant targets cus of their passives.

if you aren't 1HKO''ing fully buffed w.o cross,
then it's recommended you get an hs mule and slap on cross surge.
2hitting mobs = half the exp you could have gotten 1hitting
a visual goal would be getting 1.5bil+ exp soloing w.o pendants/coupons/rings.

if done right,
you'll someday experience getting called a 'botter' for getting x4 the exp of what those 240+botters get, but legitly.~
I just want to say your advice is great. HS + Bazooka is faster but I can only 1hko about 90% of the time. However, 211+ is getting too slow and boring to solo for 3-4 hours lol. I buddied a few Priest/lower level Phantoms and a Kanna or to to help me train and talk to me while I let them leech when i use full front assault with Bazooka. since I am partying, i might just switch to showdown as you said to get that extra 30% Boost while I have constant spawn and Hs from other party members. I would only need another attacker at that point and the experience will definitely be better.

In all honesty, Phantoms are so fun to train and play with past 180+. Diversity in skillset is allowing me to get motivatd to at least get to 215. might take a few months but it will lol. But thanks for your advice my friend. kudos.
@doutei but wont the botters just get banned or something? is it undetectable? and yea i do agree that using bazooka is better but i mean if you do just wana afk train why not use boardside? o.o
they do get banned.
especially once u hit higher lvls and jumping rankings quickly.
then we have those who cc into their map asking for pt...
only to find a botter that they can report. <- This is how botters get banned. More reports on various players~days = higher chance.
[in gazed it's mainly fdh to avoid noobs from ccing into a famous map]

now replace every time you or someone says 'afk train' with 'bot', both being synonymous to each other.
if people want to gain exp away from the computer, leech.
the only phantoms that bot with broadside/mancha/miles are those who feel inferior to legit grinders.
then again 95% of players 210+ are all botters or leechers.
Cannon Bazooka is OP. It hits like half the map and I can one shot the mobs so the exp is great. My question is, is it better to solo with HS and Showdown or HS with Bazooka. I will kill faster with Bazooka but Showdown gives more exp per kill. Or is Cross surge with hs a good balance because my DPS is still better at that point with an exp inc. Currently level 211 and I generally just want yo train more effectively solo or in party.
@chibadaggerx: broadside, botters just leave a weight on the key and go to sleep overnight.
difference here is that they just attack one corner and only get like 3-5 mobs/sec
mancha botters bot in the middle of the map killing only the middle mobs ranging from 0-5 mobs.
if they bot with any other skill, they end up getting knocked back or eventually lag into hitting a wall showing that they are obviously botting.

a legit phantom would use either showdown/canonbazooka for party/solo exp efficiency.
because when they aren't botting, they can move back into position through the lag of the drops cus of kb into the middle of the map [where the lag is hardest]

so stealing broadside yesterday wasnt a good thing?..... also what do you mean botters use it ? is it just a spammable skill? why dont they use laser from cannoners if its better damage?@doutei

if you aren't capping naturally with default buffing, then your choices are limited when bossing.
make up for dps with more hps sources. accumulates better outside of cRA.
proc a finalcut -> switch in -> arrow blaster+miles. [standard]

the only bosses i image using frozen orb would be at chaos pink bean or if you're bad at noticing DR such as empress.
Rapidfire obviously for cRA.

assuming kanna+hs:
training wise, botters will use broadside. [worst cases being mancha] less than 300mil exp/hr
source: that one phantom botting in fdh - gazed lulz.

party-phantoms sharing a map will use showdown. [corner humping] 600mil+exp/hr
source: getting around 1b exp on x2 back then in a party.

smart players will solo using cannon-bazooka. [lay waste to a map] ~1.5b+ exp /hr
source: based on my exp if i didn't use pendants/coupons/rings/runes

@RitualShadow:

I am going to test the difference between Broadside and Cannon Bazooka to see which I like better.
For Bossing. I plan on Arrow Blaster as I think its faster and more spammable than Frozen Orb. It is stronger though.

@donkreeq i don't know if this skill can be stolen but have you tried Final Cut from the Dual Blade class since it Increases your overall damage temporarily or Frozen Orb from the Ice-Lightning Arch Mage class since its Used for bossing and has higher damage than Arrow Platter. Just got it from ayumilove's blog thinking it might be helpful

@DarkOdor sent you a friend request on maplestory since were on the same server and i might need some help with my Phantom

I am currently looking for a Cannoneer at the moment (in Renegades </3) to steal Cannon Bazooka. I did get to try out ELE and Broadside. Broadside is nice and the damage is great O_O. ELE is good too. And is Rapid Fire really stronger than ELE? Is it because of the speed?
you can steal broadside, it's the preferred training move for all the afk trainers at SDH.
It really is though I usually see nls macroing these days
You can search up Ayumi Love Phantom Guide. There is a list on there but I do not know if it is updated or not.

A general rule of thumb, the best stolen skill build is as follows:

**Training:**
Job 1: Iron Body (from Dark Knight/Spearman)
Job 2: Rage (from Hero)
Job 3: Cross Surge and Holy Symbol needs to be stolen
Job 4: Make sure empty, and choose either Cross Surge or Holy Symbol to fill in (recommend Cross + Holy)
Job 4: Alternative: Showdown (+30% EXP and Drop Rate for like 100-something seconds and stacks with Holy Symbol)

Bossing
Job 1: Iron Body (from Dark Knight/Spearman)
Job 2: Rage (from Hero)
Job 3: Cross Surge
Job 4: Rapid Fire (but I'm not so sure yet, that is reasoning for my post lol)
when i train, i use holy symbol for 3rd job and cannoon bazooka for 4th. bazooka is strong and has a long range so yeah. also, iron body is useless, use dark sight instead. when i fight hard magnus or w.e, dark sight is extremely useful. for bossing, i use rapid fire since it's the strongest.

Bazooka for training, hurricane/rapid fire for bossing. That's all there is to it.

If you are training at DH2 I would say broadside or showdown. Bazooka/ELE are just as good though ELE range i heard is shorter. Bucc blast and dragon strike isn't worth it all
since they either are slower/weaker and/or short ranged compared to any of them. For bossing your choices are limited when it comes to efficiency. Most of the skills you can
steal as a 4th job attack are based on that classes benefits that we can't have like SP or elemental stacks. The only skills that are useful are ones that proc noir often so really you
only have RF/Blaster/Hurrican/mille and hurricane is bugged with judgement draw so make your choice from those. You can use any skill of course but those are the skills to use..
I will say one thing about broadside, it has distance/damage but what I like the most about it is the stance. It is also a keydown skill like most skills you will be using to boss anyway.
yea, im really looking for a classes that's useful and strong (i'm not playing for damage, i just want to be good) and have been reading up and i like that way you can "borrow" other adventures skills but i was wondering if there's a list or something of the best skills to get?

personally, it's my favorite class. i've mained marksman, kaiser, jett, and corsair and i've quit them all after a few months. they're decently strong, and are good for training and bossing. the diversity is also a huge plus.

Umm, Sorry to take the thunder away from your question (basil wont let me make my own thread btw) and was wondering if phantoms are any good. i have just started playing and i'm already hooked.
<3

Phantoms are fun as they are the most versatile class skill-wise. The further you get with Phantom, the more availability you get to try out new skills, like stealing buffs, other attacks, etc. from Adventurers. We did take a nerf, but the class still has shining moments with skill set. Keep going with it and you will find out.

Training past 70+ is good as you can get Holy Symbol, etc. You can support, attack, defend (with magic guard), boss, mob, etc.

Just keep playing it until 140. All skills will be maxed. Once you max it all out, see if you want to continue or not

Now anyone wanna help me out with skill recommendation
