So Im the Mc at a wedding

Hey guys, I'm pretty worried right now and I need some assistance.

Just this week I was selected to be the microphone controller (MC) at my cousin's wedding.
I'm pretty good at speeches, but this wedding will have at least 450 seats filled, which is slightly terrifying imo.
Good thing is that the groom's brother will also MC with me so it's basically a duo.
I'm just not exactly sure what to do and how I should present myself. Is it best to be formal? Should I be cracking jokes?
I don't want to make up a script and sound like a robot. This is some pretty intense pressure on us and i'm not sure what to make of it.
Any tips on how to be entertaining & formal at the same time? What do I do while I'm up there?
Thanks for all the suggestions in advance!

If you're funny do that. If not I don't know why they wanted you as MC.
I would go less scripted, just have an idea of what you wanna talk about, but don't read from cards or anything.

Honestly depends on what type of people are coming. Try to be formal, but crack some jokes on the side. Make sure you have some things planned to say so that you can fall back on those if you ever get flustered. If you are still nervous, try imagining everyone in their underwear. Besides that, enjoy yourself. Good luck!

Yes you should have some laughs. Just do the usual thank everyone for coming first and then just share a somewhat embarrassing or funny story about your cousin and then transition to how much you care about them and hope they have a wonderful future together

Lol "where" ^

If you're not naturally funny or good in front of crowds, it'll get weird
