It is just the copy image location from my facebook picture I posted. Anyways! My 150$ G-Shock got ruined on a crazy call I went on last night.

I know for a fact that G-Shock watches are durable as fuaaaa and you were able to bang it up that bad? Son, were you wrestling with some bloody clawed demon of a patient? Either way, I don't think anyone has a reason to criticize you for wearing the G-Shock.
1. medical equipment can be sensitive to radiation/signals
2. you need to tell the time
3. G-Shocks are really durable; only in extreme cases could it be rendered unwearable
4. cheaper alternatives simply do not cut it (and unless you're on that homeless povertytime, you should have some self-respect and do better, otherwise know your timepieces better). Don't even get me started with the suggestion of carrying around a timer (wth?)

@cheifwarking lol just look at the secondds and time a heart rate/respiration rate.

@timmybitty it is and its why I got in to this field and love my job... like I said though unbelievably stressful but good calls are usually really fun. Like that call made my night.

@juliacat LOL! Again I wish it was dirt but no.. its blood. Idk from which patient either cause there was 3. One was dead on scene.... Kinda why they say don't drink and drive/text/drugs. Idk what he did but he came from a party and was a teenager.... so you know obviously was one of the 3.

@cheifwarking I need it to grab a set of vitals/take a pulse. So I am not gonna take it off I actually use it. They don't help with the watch because its not part of my uniform.

@milkocha oh

@azel088 I guess it is. I love the job but... it is very stressful. Yesterday during my 26 hour shift I was so stressed out I was literally having chest pain... I am only 20 and I am in shape. The stress levels can get pretty bad. First time that it caused me physical pain though lol. At least for me it is stressful cause I work for one of the worst cities in my state. -.-

@crazeefun I like the appearance and thats why I bought it. It looks smexy.

@sohee ! That is your opinion I used to get a lot of compliments about the watch. I think it is sexy.

@fiercerain It is my hand. I am wearing a watch. The watch is covered in blood. You also see a bit of my jacket lol. Anyways ehh I don't really like watches except for the G-Shock. It looks so cool in my opinion. Anything I use at work will get destroyed eventually from blood saturation or just getting banged up.

@pacifist -.- Yes idk why that is so hard to see? It looks like a clear picture to me. o.O

Uhh.. I don't understand what I'm looking at. ._.

Edit: I just read through the comments, just buy a new one or buy a Casio. Most digital watches are graded to last 10 years if you take decent care of them and they're usually priced between 9 ~ 20 bucks?

@azel088 I wish it was kool-aid! Then I wouldn't be QQing right now. -.- My watch, jacket, and pants got ruined. My company will get me a new jacket/pants but the watch is all on me. -.-

Close but I am not a paramedic. At least not yet. I wish I was though. I am just an EMT/Fire Fighter. But I was working as an EMT last night.

@watermelon ... money doesn't grow on trees to just blow 150$ o.O

@sohee do you know what a G-Shock is? Its just a name brand watch that ranges from 100-160$ depending on the model... I paid 150$ for mine because its solar powered, automatic light and its smexy white/red. What you are looking at is my watch and part of my jacket it's covered in blood.

@stewiefg41 No it happened on a 911 call for a motor vehicle in to a pole. Lots of bleeding from the patients. The blood got all over me.
