They are though...... and I guess I better rephrase I mean morally idiotic in nature not idiots in the term of amount of brain cells they have. If you look at the judgement of these cops, well if you look at their actions you should see that most are idiots(*used in the above terminology). Though I digress since most of my colleagues are idiots( *) when it comes to delivering case studys. But I will stand by my opinion most people are idiots and the profession doesn't matter since like I said I know a lot of people with high IQ and have no common sense........

Also for those saying there are a ton of good cops, no. They're just cops trying to get by but like
I said, I don't know every cop but most who come down to my job aren't bad cops(some are like Officer mitchel<-gotta stop mentioning names) but just cops

Dude I Belive most of the cops are good and if u think that the cops are murderers, go to the police. Also, people that smoke or do drugs should get arrested and also people that think that the cops are bad, you should think why are they acting like this only with you and not others.

It takes a certain mindset to go into a certain profession. That means only certain mindsets out of the countless idiots we have on Earth will become any one of these professions.
In fact, by your logic, any profession is full of "mostly idiots".

There are going to be bad seeds everywhere in every profession. Saying that "cops aren't needed" because of a few bad ones is stupid. Society would not be what it is today without law enforcement. People solving their own problems and defending themselves will likely lead to even more crime in an endless spiral.

Law enforcement is necessary, not all cops are bad and you shouldn't let the bad few ruin your view of a useful and important institution of society. Get off your high horse and realize that these people are here to help, not rule over you.

@ZetraDedd: One town, yes. There will be countless examples of things like that happening, because they are in the news and in public attention, but then there are 99% of the other cops who simply do their day to day job and aren't corrupt.

Not really, some cops are good and deserve respect, I will give you that but most cops I meant are on a power trip. The excess much force over the smallest things and are extremely trigger happy expecially in high crime areas(though it kinda makes sense). One of the biggest reason I hate american police is the fact that most I've met think they are above god and everything they do is justice. It's better in my opinion to take off the cops and let everyone defend themselves, though this is coming from a person who's a practitioner of martial arts so meh.

If you really think about it most cops are quite close to normal people when it comes to moral judgement and most people understand that people in general are stupid and usually think illogically hence by deduction we can deduce that cops are mostly idiots(which they are). For the few cops who read this and think this guy/kid/internet thug(i.e me) is just saying thing with no substance. Think about most of your arrest and actually consider all the facts without prejudice, but hey what do I know?

Also to all the good cops, just keep doing what you can and thank you for trying your best to help those in need.(Thanks alot officer Bradly you won't read this but I'm mentioning you anyway)

Just because you break the law and had a bad experience with them doesn't mean they all are. You probably gave them attitude as well seeing as most people never show any respect to anyone. Heck most people don't even show respect to their parents. It is sickening. You seem like the type of person to do whatever you want and its justified. Clearly since you are breaking the law and don't care. So why does it matter to you if a cop breaks the law?

That's implying that most cops would mistreat you, which is a harsh generalization. So you've heard a few bad stories about cops, is that your only justification for thinking that way?

@doutei another teenager I assume. Not all cops are bad people/crooked. You will only hear stories about the bad ones. As there are thousands upon thousands upon thousands off cops doing their jobs. I know a lot of teenagers are stupid, do drugs, and again are very stupid. With your reasoning I should treat all teenagers like idiots who are just gonna drop out of hs and be criminals. Exactly. @ReginaId actually I am a Fire Fighter Emt-B. Far from a nerd. I work closely with cops on a lot of calls. I actually respect cops and think most of them are good people. Cops save me the trouble of having to use 4 point restraints on all my psych patients. I know if I was a cop I would show mercy to no one. As it always goes to waste and you get a bad connotation anyway.
