My char is now known as Lily
I'm fine with my ign and wouldn't change it. It was just really weird to wake up one day and log on and see everybody with different igns. maybe if they had something implemented where they showed their previous igns before the switch, ah well.
@ashleyattacked: Who needs that when you're "Safe" with "Gods"?
@traitor: L> igns 'Envelope' or 'CardBoard'
@merchantsnowy: Go to Player Rankings > Type your character name in > Right click the character picture and save it > Go to "My Profile" on Basilmarket.com > Click Edit for the character you wanna change > Upload that pic that you saved. Eventually it should be updated, if not, contact Mr. Basil
OT: My IGN is Oreoss, cause I'm white on the inside and black on the outside.
There are some pretty stupid 1 word names tbh.
It's better than (name0462) though :x
I think Duzz tops 'em all
well just u remember, i was the very first on mapleglobal (2002 ~ 2005 ~ today) to have an original name.. oh and to add to that im also the first player on scania to reach lvl 30 and 2nd job within the first few minutes of launch
I'm still sad the character limit is 12 and not 13.
@appall: you didn't name any names but i'm pretty sure your comment was directed at me. fyi, i snagged a bunch of igns in from the update, a lot of 1 word dictionary words too. i'm not jealous of all these unoriginal, boring igns. if someone gave me the igns snow or rain, i'd take it definitely, just to sell it later on if anybody actually wants to still buy igns. sellout might not be the most appropriate word to use, but people changing their old original igns for some random word like "shut" just for the sake of a 4 letter word to look cool/pro are sellouts imo.
except that no one plays especially in bera. maple is empty compared to before
I'm having adding my character to basil, anyone know how I can upload a custom image?

I will never change Exogenerator.
Not really. The overvalue of simplistic/most-used words as IGNs was just speculated & accepted to be rare/valuable b/c of how hard it is to get/use them. But when practically 70% of the community dives into the spree... they're just stupid and ugly af.
The people who never got good names trashing the people who did. Jealousy is an ugly trait. I bet if someone offered you a name like snow or rain you'd take it in a second. Anyways why does it matter, if someone's happy with their ign let them be. people who changed their original name sell outs? I have heard it all at this point... maybe they just wanted a change, or didn't want the one they picked previously due to the lack of available ones. Nexon had this event for a reason..
@coldinside: lol don't be. Those people who bought IGNs are rich and it's better that these IGNs are available to everyone now. Especially those who don't want to spend money on something as dumb as a one word IGN.
I agree that to an extent it does feel a bit more refreshing to see so many 1 word names. I kind of feel bad for the people who spent lots of money to buy 1 word names back when they were less common.
@supmanlol: They have a meaning from my childhood ^-^b
I mean words like Table, Desk, Hats, Park, Rule etc. [no offense to those who have the igns. I just listed some short words]
@simaini: not really about being cool. it's just about getting the ign you originally wanted instead of settling for something you like less.
@haunt: how dare u
people who changed their main's old, original igns are sellouts
i mean, if your old ign was something pretty crappy then okay, that's pretty justified. now everybody has 1 word igns, they're not cool or exclusive anymore l0l
I love my ign Naphik
@traitor: *looks at your igns*
bruh
I think it's weird walking past people with single word igns which have no meaning whatsoever. But to each their own.
I actually liked creativity before the era of dumb single words.
