WTF 4 - PQs

It's Friday again, so that means I'm doing another one of these! Wishful Thinking Friday time!

This time the topic is Party Quests. They're practically dead, like all you can really get from them is a moderate amount of exp - slower than grinding - and since they require other people to do them with they're not as reliable. Also the rewards are totally obsolete. How would you change PQs to make them more interesting?

Personally I'd remove the restriction where you can only get 1 level at a time per batch of exp, so PQs can potentially level you multiple times. That's the only way they'd be able to compete with grinding exp-wise.

How bout you?

Permanent x2 exp like that party event from a while ago.

On top of that, implement party-play like feature that increases exp gains from pqs based on party size (also remove party size restrictions that I think some pqs have right now)

Maybe let exp bonuses from link skill and Legion apply to party exp?

Cubes for possible [common] rewards.

Agreed on the removal of exp-gain cap.

make pq rewards cubes.
remove level restrictions.
Characters that don't move, or don't do a certain thing, or don't accuire a minimal amount of items don't get any exp.

Let the EXP be better than grinding.
Make it somewhat challenging, to a degree, even when funded.
Let all bosses in PQ UNBEATABLE unless all members attack (somehow, that's nexon's job to figure out the formulas and the mechanics of that part).

Infuse defense and tanking a part of the PQ's mission to a certain degree.
Profit.

I'd like pq's to give decent experience rates at the levels that they are accessible at. That alone would be a reason to do them. This coupled with the cross world pq would result in decent party play training options with a constant supply of potential members. Nothing but positives all around :^)

Also, I'm not sure if anyone has the image or remembers it, but there was a fan made image that detailed a really good pq revamp idea that would create positive party play mechanics, and make them viable options of training up until the level cap.

@pinyin: Yeah rankings would be nice! I imagine most people wouldn't bother if they didn't do anything concrete like give you an item or whatever, but it'd still be an improvement!
