@whatthefail: I've cleared the boss over 100 times and still haven't gotten any Bain weapons at all, which has never happened to me before
I made an assumption, it's good to know that they're still around though. Am I doing something wrong then?
You think Blackgate and Ninja Castle are hacker infested? I guarantee that they're nothing compared to Herb Town and Mu Lung.
Virtually every map between those two towns--on every channel as well--has 1 to 4 hackers lording over it.
I have quite a few characters trying to complete quests in this region, and it's near impossible thanks to these ever present hackers.
It's really quite ridiculous.
While I also agree with your point of this game being difficult to log into, I wish you'd also mentioned the ongoing problem with the Event Hall.
After all of these months I still can't safely enter that place without the game freezing and having to be forcibly restarted. Nexon's still done nothing about this issue.
If I can't enter the Event Hall, then I really have little reason to play since I still bother with this barely functioning game because I like participating in events.
It's frustrating knowing that I won't be able to get Sengoku Hakase Badges for any of my characters because of this. -_-

Bain weapons are still obtainable. I don't know what you're on about, I got a bunch of them over the past few weeks.

1. I thought people only did Balrog to get the card / collection / medal.
2. Yep pretty stupid. The original reason they removed the multiple quantity purchasing was because if you just hit the back arrow you could underflow it and give yourself 99 cubes + 2bil mesos (this was like the first week of Reboot) and I'm guessing they just never found a way to fix that?

4. The only real solution for this is better hack detection. Bans / IP bans aren't a meaningful deterrent because bots can just make more accounts. But to add onto this point, Mu Lung is also infested with bots.
