Some dude in a previous topic ran a virus program disguised as an adobe update

if that has ever happened to you, things u should be aware of..

1. norton, kaspersky, mcafee, fprot, avg, none of these will remove malware as they are virus scanners not malware scanners, viruses were a thing of the past in the late 80's and 90's, nowadays you get hit by redirection hijacks, TDSS, and all sorts of other malware junk, renders every commercial & free antivirus software useless.

2. doing a system restore or formatting the hard drive and restoring everything from scratch is not the best option either, since some malware (especially TDSS) affect the MBR (master boot record) and even the UEFI BIOS

3. if you log into anything, you risk losing all that stuff since they most likely will get your information

4. like i mentioned above, none of the regular antivirus software is any good.. other tools like: combofix, roguekiller, adwcleaner, etc, are more well versed at removing malware

5. you dont need to have or run a virus/malware to get hacked, alot of professionals can do that to you just by having your ip address

6. btw they have these padlock things in cash shop.. i suggest everyone lock all their equips dont be like kewra showing off your stuff on youtube, it makes you a target.. forreal lol.. i've seen videos of people showing off runescape videos of several billions and party hats and successful gambles, and guess what? they all get hacked out of the blue
