Beast Tamer at Sdh

Hey guys I was bored and was thinking I should get my Beast Tamer to 210 for the level 3 link, it's 204 atm. My questions are which method/mode is most efficient at training in sdh/fdh to maximize exp gain. What kind of range is necessary to 1 hit fdh/sdh. I haven't touched my BT since hoh was the bee's knees of training spots (leech) and forgot everything about the class. I have ~195k in default mode and ~235k in bear mode and I can transfer some stuff over from my lumi to maybe get to ~700-800k but would rather not waste psoks if I can squeeze by with just a little more range.

i just leeched to 210, but i know there are these BTs that train all the time, so it shouldnt be that bad if you have good comp :O

i know a lot of BTs even lag in cat mode, but ive never had problems

Basically every BT mode has lag issues. I would suggest Cat, but be warned that you may D/C, hence die if you aren't quick about your login, a lot

According to Ayumi Love, she recommends that you use bear + snow leopard for getting the link skill / 200-250.
Combinations for other purposes goes as followed:
"To summarize the skill build for the above:
Goal: To get link skill only = Bear + Snow Leopard
Goal: To reach Level 200~250 = Bear + Snow Leopard
Goal: To get link skill + mule buff (at Level 120) = Snow Leopard + Cat
Goal: To get link skill + mule buff = Bear + Snow Leopard -> Level 200 Reset SP -> Cat + Hawk"

Though I heard the lag is pretty bad and people can't stay on for more than ten minutes sometimes.. I have a friend on my bl that managed to leech in sdh and get her beast tamer to 210 though.

You'd be better off sticking with catmode until they fix the issues I tried to level up my BT and went to DI and i failed because of lag of the lag caused by bear mode while attacking

Now you've piqued my curiosity about the BT lag. I should go experience it for myself see what all the fuss is about.

don't even bother, everytime i go to sdh i freeze lag. i mean im pretty much at your range and kill them pretty easily, but ive stopped at 201 because lagg is too bad, even to afk in cat mode (which is what everyone wants). so to answer your question i would say go with cat mode.
