I'm working in Korea for a year, but I can't speak Korean so I can't really play KMS.

Well, i can play GMS from Europe, so it should be possible. However, when you logon to Maple in Korea, o you get a choice what server you wanna play ? I get the options GMS and Europe , but are you given that choice in Korea too ?
Otherwise there is the option to hide your location by login on to an american server, so GMS think you are playing from the states.
