Kaiser Skills Glitched? Wingbeat/Vertical Grapple/Transform
Hey fellow Kaisers,
Ever since like two days ago, i've been having serious problems on my Kaiser.
Wingbeat: Not hitting any monsters; goes right through them and deals no damage.
Vertical Grapple: Only able to use one time in a map; causes me to dc within 3 minutes of using it.
Transform: Wingbeat is also not hitting while transformed. Not too sure what specific attacks, but being in transform causes me to DC within 1 minute of using the skill.
Other than glitched skills, I just find myself D/cing immensely on my Kaiser, in comparison to my other characters on my account. Another thing that's happening on my Kaiser is that I'm not able to open up my Attendance Check window. Don't know if that is a job specific problem, or if other people with other jobs are having this problem.
Anyone else having these problems?

The problems with grapple, wing beat, etc are most likely due to your computer not having the proper updates to frameware. MOST people experienced those glitches and they were subsequently patched. If you are still having problems, run windows update, unhide your updates and install stuffs . AND RESTART! or the changes dont take effect.

this is a problem with your keyboard, not maple. try not pressing the keys so hard (im dead serious) or switching the attack commands.
i have problems when i hold left+right for too long
I had this problems long time ago, all i did was install everything available in windows update and the most important thing,
i restarted my pc (is almost turned on 24/7 and i barely restart it) It might sound stupid but yet those 2 things worked and
never had the problems again.
I had the same problem a few days ago running maple on Steam.
I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled regular maple because I was getting tired of logging on and off every time on Steam for a different account.
Try reintsalling?

It grapples to whatever is higher in it's range, just cancel the grapple with a jump when you've just gone past the platform you want.
if you dont want to go all the way up on grapple, instead of tapping the key, hold it down for the duration of the grapple

Try restarting your computer.
It works fine on mine. I recall having something similar on Luminous, where his meteor not hitting anything. Try to replace a few wz files (Was it Skill, or Reactor) since mine was corrupted.
I wonder what caused those :

This. Grapple is meant to grab the highest in it's range, but you can press the skill key at anytime to stop at whatever point you wish to stop at. quite useful.
It was happening to me awhile ago too. Wingbeat goes through enemies, grappling super bugged and dcing every 5 mins. I actually tried everything, including sending a ticket (which didn't work). What did work for me though, is updating my windows 8. Maybe that could help you?

I think you can grab the ones below the topmost platform if you hit the grapple key a few times, works for me.

I think grapple just grabs the topmost platform within whatever range it has, so it's not necessarily the one closest to you. And everything is fine for me, not sure what the problem is

Ah yeah, I am having that problem with grapple, in addition to the problems I already have with it lol. And dang... what is wrong with my character/account/computer ;~; I only have found like 2 other people that are having the same problems as me :[
Haven't had any trouble on mine.
