Battle Mage or Shade?
Title, with the new slot coupon. I already have a Kanna and I/L Mage under the Mage category, however I also already have a Xenon, TB, and Cannoneer under the Pirate category.
These two interest me because they look different to the other classes, and I already have mostly 1-2 classes in each category and so I don't see a reason to make anything else.

Both have few buffs, Shade has thedge bossing, BaM has edge mobbing
Since you already have a Kanna, why don't you make a Demon Avenger for another %dmg link skill?
shade for the link skill if you think of not maining it later
Shade I think is better for endgame but I find BaM more fun. And chances are the one you find more fun is the one you'll stick with longest.

Try both of them and then decide.
They're both good in my opinion. Although if I had to choose... maybe Shade since I always like playing as characters that use their body as a weapon instead of the usually swords, staffs, bows, etc etc. It's just a shame we don't have very many really...
