Defense Break: Defense ignored decreased from 100% -> 25%. New: Now ignores 25% of a monster's elemental resistance. WTF why would mercedes want to ignore elemental resistance

1920x1080 plox!

@BadgerDontCare While everything you say is correct, This will also be good for people who due youtube videos, No longer will scaling be an issue for 720p videos. Muchles 1080p. As for the lag to hardware issue the other resolutions will remain for people to chose from I'm sure. Correct there will be black bars around some maps but nothing will be "Smaller" and harder to see, Nothing is being downscale'd. I work in Computer Graphic and Video Design. This will merely keep the same aspect ratio of pixel per inch just widen the resolution of the game itself.

''If party member's level difference is 41 levels or higher, you will not gain EXP.''

That resolution is going to suck. Higher resolutions in a side scrolling game with small maps is going to be bad. For one, a lot of the small maps will have blackness around the sides, top, and bottom. Also everything will be smaller and harder to see. It's not as if the graphics will improve, it's MapleStory. Sure, the outlines will be more defined, and maybe the new areas like Root Abyss with it's more modern graphical representations will look slightly better, but the rest of the Maple world will be annoying to look at in this higher resolution. And then there's the load it puts on your graphics hardware. If you have a dedicated graphics card with like 512mb, you might not notice, but for the majority of people who buy stock computers with integrated graphics, they'll notice the lag the increased resolution causes, and the only way to get rid of it would be to reduce the quality of on-screen images, which totally defeats the purpose (or at least, the purpose I perceive you guys might have) of the higher resolution.
Totally didn't expect to write that much
