All non reboot servers should be merged.
All the regular servers are going to die much faster due to player count being sapped away to the Superior world.
Just take them all and combine them. Name it Scania. Or perhaps a name that represents original maple best.
Two things they could do are:
1.) Add more channels to both worlds. 30 up from 20
2.) Increase stability and server size.
I personally see no problem with that as someone who likes smaller worlds.

We already saw what a mass merge of people would do to a world with Reboot, do we really want to experience the same thing.
@09080706l: Precisely what this game needs. More stability, more advertising. Reduce some prices on things for the regular servers.
@silverfoxr: Improper analogy. Stabbing people with a knife requires you to make that decision on your own. It's not anyone's fault but the homicidal maniac's (hackers, exploiters). It isn't the bystanders fault for being there when it happened. And if unarmed with the proper tools to do so it isn't the bystander's (communities) fault for doing nothing to stop him but instead choose to run away. (quit game)
Nexon can install proper methods of inhibiting the ability of people to manipulate game code. They don't. Nexon Korea won't allow them to do what they need to. It's NxnKorea's fault. Corporate inflexibility to adapt.

Windia hasn't been populated enough since like 2011. It shouldn't be any sort of difficult to find a party for anything, yet it is.
I'm all for having a populated community, but if the merge were to happen, Nexon needs to do some serious server upgrades as well as content balancing in order to spread the maps and training grounds amongst the population.

Merging all other worlds would be like the first week of Reboot turned up to eleven - nowhere to train, KS wars everywhere, pretty much the entire community eating each other.
Also, going back to the "Superior World" garbage... Reboot isn't superior - it only takes away the things that players CHOSE to abuse. We blame Nexon, but it's the community that "ruined" anything. I put a steak knife on the table with your meal. I intend you to use it to cut the steak. You use it to stab someone in the ribs. Who's to blame?

@consecrate: they have to lower the cost of many things in cash shop because people are going to stop buying eventually.. it really is expensive compared to other MMO's
Nexon needs to pump money into advertisement I think this game is actually gotten pretty good as far as being F2P, and i think the game has gotten pretty unheard of, if they pump out advertisments i actually think it can liven up some more
If they triple/quadruple the number of channels, it should be fine, but that'll make it super messy in the channel select screen.
@momiji I went back to windia. I have a full commerci set, and upwards of 17k Spell traces. In Reboot 3k will get you 20m+. I literally went to a vendor and almost sold them. Then realized I couldnt. I still had 19m from my mesos bags. I then tried enhancing my equipemnt, then remembered It would use traces not mesos, except it wasnt scrolled so I couldn't. Point being, considering I was getting 2 shotted by 190 mobs, and was doing pathetic damage to them. The only way I could possibly get better was buying nx. In Reboot, I would just have to Czak, Hilla, and all of the other Daily bosses. And just like that 15m from selling the drops to npcs. Then I would train for like an hour, and will all the traces factored in, I would have another 30m. thats 4 cubes in like 2 hours. or alternitavely 40m for enhancing equips.
TLDR: Basically going back to Windia I realized if my character was weak it was staying that way no matter how hard I worked for it. In Reboot my Thunder Breaker has a 310k range at 164, because I've been playing him non-stop up until Kinesis, and worked for my 140 set to get all pieces 3 lined. Worked for my cubes. Farmed mesos to get everything 12-13 starred. I worked for it and I got it. You can't do that in Windia
@charles0012: i can guarantee you that there will be an eventual decline in population because people don't want to have to 'work' for it. i mean, after all you really do need a pet there or else you're going to see meager progress compared to those who have them. overall it's the same game, different dance.
@aceforte I'm getting so tired of people saying this. Nobody is leaving Reboot because they have to work for their own stuff. Reboot is not hard whatsoever. The only thing different is that you everybody has equal opportnities to advance their characters. I personally left because I got bored of the 2 classes I made, and decided to go back to my cannonshooter. Then realized i havnt played him in 2 years and I have a 37k range at 193(Boomed all my stuff for the lols before i qui). And now I'm going back to eso.
Yes! Even though Windia is one of the biggest worlds, its dead compared to a few years ago. Merging all worlds together may boost it up to its old numbers. Imo, there should be Reboot (For people who want to play in it), and ONE normal world.
Goddam. @MRbasil can you ban BS posts like this please? Reboot is still new, after people get their link skill mules leveled and have sufficiently tested out the new server some of them will go back to the regular servers. A lot of people play in both servers. Reboot is not killing the normal servers, and I refuse to take anyone seriously if they believe that.
i feel so lonely sometimes staying in just one world. i wanna meet more people. but i think merging is a lil much because people will complain about lag and whatnot
let's merge all the players into one megaplayer that we all have to fight to control in the megaserver

Bro population drops hard after holidays and summer break. It's going to get worse.

Reboot is boring. It'll die down soon enough.
Dont worry, all the server population will grow again after the winter break, people will leave Reboot, most of the player are newbies from other servers, since they cant go asking for mesos or stuff ''since you cant trade'' and most of them are now begging for boss carry and no one take em, they will get back to other servers
I previously agreed with this - but after trying reboot with that unbearable lag, I like windia the way it is.

Not a good idea in my opinion. I'm from Windia and I can tell you from personal experience that Windia is still decently populated despite Reboot. If all the other worlds still have a good enough population (except for those always-dead worlds such as GRAZED), then there is no need to merge them.
