Could I go from fat stomach to six pack in six months So I would really like to lose my stomach fat, and hopefully gain a six pack (I probably will cause that's what you see when your fat isn't there...) in six months, before I start my senior year of high school. Is there any way I could do this without a gym, without some weird training program, without some weird dieting program, without vitamins and protein, etc. All I have are some dumbbells, my house, my choices, and my own body. I am 5'8", 205 lbs., and I have broad shoulders, and a bit of fat on my upper arms and chest, and a lot on my stomach, but other than that I'm pretty in shape. I think I eat healthy. In fact I don't really eat much. Sometimes I don't eat lunch, and when
Help me one last time If you have any interest in making a fellow Basiler's life less stressful, please please read this. This is the final countdown guys. Unfortunately this'll undoubtedly be a thread that gets like 2 replies, one being mine, and then it gets lost. I am going off to college in two days. I still have a pretty huge crush on my crush, who I've been talking about on here for a long time. Many of you have talked about her with me A LOT. I need some sort of closure about her, but she hasn't responded to text or voicemail for a week/two weeks (depending how you look at it). [OPTIONAL DETAILS: Last time we texted was Sunday two weeks ago. Didn't text her after that. Then one text last Tuesday, one text Thursday, voicemail Friday.
Progress on girls Any of you remember my thread about how some girl was stolen from me? Well, tonight we finally hung out for a little while, and it was pretty fun, and I heard things I never would've expected to hear. A very dramatic night. This was probably literally the first time I hung out with a girl. AND GUESS WHAT, WE COULD ONLY HANG OUT BECAUSE I CAN DRIVE NOW. I was TOTALLY right about how I knew I would start doing stuff once I could get my license and a car. Some of you just said it was an excuse. Apparently not. So yeah, hanging out with a girl is off my bucket list. She was the first person I've told that I have never even made it to first base. I didn't know that people actually thought I had gotten to first base at some poin
this is a parody thread Wow I can't believe I'm so drunk right now and I'm still posting on Basil. Like, I literally can't fathom how cool I am for drinking and then attempting to type on a website like Basil because obviously people will be able to tell how drunk I am. So coool Here let me type words overly exaggerated in their incorrect spelling OOOMG iiiiiiim so druuuuuuunk lkek i cna t even type LOL BUT I STIL RMBR WHAT CAP LOCK IS
iTunes wont let me sort my iPod music by anything So I'm in iTunes, and I have my iPod synced with my library (because iTunes sucks and if I try to unsync it I can't delete anything from my iPod). And, currently, my music "On This iPod" is sorted by Genre, which is useless. But, I try clicking on the other things to sort it by, and it doesn't do anything. What is happened. EDIT: I decided to "Remove" all "Manually Added Songs" from my iPod. Then I unchecked the "Sync Music" box, and clicked "Apply". Let's see what happens.
Its Hawaiian day tomorrow at work So I'm gonna wear one of those short-sleeve button-up Hawaiian shirts. But I'm not sure if I should wear it over my blue polo uniform shirt, or go get a white crew neck shirt beforehand. I'm planning on wearing the Hawaiian shirt unbuttoned. Pros of white shirt: -Looks normal for sure Pros of work shirt: -I can take Hawaiian shirt off if I need to -Might not look THAT weird being unbuttoned with polo P.S. My crush has worn a Hawaiian button-up shirt to work a few times, cause she's cute like that, and I'm PRETTY sure she just wore it over her polo work shirt and it looked fine. Then again, she always looks cute, so maybe I couldn't pull that off. HELP ME IT'S DIRE
How do you leave the home town I hate this stupid town and I just wanna get out without doing the quests. Any way?
Do you guys understand what I mean with ellipsis I use ellipsis a lot, on the internet and texting. When I text and use an ellipsis, people have asked "why do you always say dot dot dot after things". Well, the reason I say it is usually to put a somewhat condescending tone on what I just said, like "you should have known" or something. I don't know why I use it for this. Of course, I also use it for it's real use...rather than using a hyphen, or to show a trailing off thought I guess. Anyway, yeah. I'm going to work. See you in 5 hours.
Why wont my car work Once upon a time, a poor little boy just wanted to be able to drive around his friends and girls and get groceries for his parents. He had hoped to do this by junior year of high school, but he ended up getting his license right before senior year started. He had worked for an entire year, and then spent all of his earnings on a car. Then, the car had one problem after the other, and after two months of owning it he's been able to drive it for about seven days. Every time the mechanic fixes something, it can drive back home, and then it doesn't work the next day. Meanwhile, literally nobody else at his school has mechanical problems with their cars, no matter how old or what model. Why does this happen to just this one
Omg Basil listened to my suggestion They finally added a section for Entertainment so all you LoL, Pokemon, and anime idiots can go there instead of Chat Island! Thanks you Basil!
High school stories Any of you have some good high school stories? I love those.
Personality report test thing You guys should do this. It's interesting, if you're into this sort of thing. I think that should link to my results so you can see them. And then just click "mypersonality" in the upper left to start the test for yourself. My result was "The Healer: Healers are emotionally balanced, which means that they are less prone to depression and are able to cope well with feelings of anxiety, anger and vulnerability. Due to their independence and reserve, sometimes the Healer can be perceived as arrogant or unfriendly, however this is merely because they don't require the same level of social stimulation or interaction that others may seek. The Healer enjoys a good balance between the real world and fantasy, they are m
I have to be the only one around who does this So, I have a weird self-conscious thing. I'm a guy, first of all. Ever since about...8th grade, I've grown my bangs out to below my eyebrows but I try to keep them above my eyes. Now, I have bushy, messed up eyebrows and my forehead is pale. But I've had my hair like this for almost 4 years. People keep telling me to cut it, so they can "see my eyes" (even though I ALWAYS can in the mirror). I just think I'd look too ugly and too different with my hair all gone. I've had long hair now since 5th grade, and I'm in 11th grade. It's kinda of a big change. I'm so self conscious about my eyebrows (I guess that's what it is) and my bangs that I don't like the wind because it messes with my h

You should make some email time capsules A few years ago, I think when I was like 10 or maybe even earlier, I found a website where you can send email time capsules to yourself. I know it works, because I've gotten an email FROM MYSELF every birthday
Some questions about dating 1) Do most girls come into a relationship thinking way far ahead, like "what will happen when we're both in college" or "when we move in together _______". 2) How many dates is considered a lot? Cause I was watching Ray William Johnson's "Runaway Thoughts" and in one of their segments they have questions about "if you've been on 4 good dates and then they tell you about some very significant info (e.g. they have cancer, they became depressed, they travel for their job, etc.) would you make it or break it." They make 4 dates sound like a lot, but to me I'd be outta there if something like that came up. By the way, I'm mostly thinking about this concerning high school girls.
Fradds Excellent College Freshman Adventure Part 4 I think I've finally made a pretty good female friend. Everyone in my classes has been sitting in the same spot. There's only one class where it's really necessary, but I guess people tend to stay where they're familiar even though they've only been there once. Anyway, Monday: I sat two seats from this girl in Spanish, but no one sat between us, she could've been attractive from what I happened to notice out of my peripheral vision. I think we said one thing to each other at the beginning of class or something. Tuesday: I went to my education class, and there she was again. There are rows of four seats, and she was in the front left row, and I sat two seats from her. I was talking to her an
