No VIP Hair/Face in Reboot, chatted with GM
I just chatted with a GM to confirm if the missing VIP Hair/Face missing in Reboot CS was intended. Turns out it is. Idk whats the real dumb reason behind this but he said "Reboot server is still pretty new and were still looking how its going for everyone". Im pretty sure alot of people hate the ugly Royal rotations they give us and would like those old traditional hair/faces back. Even the GM himself said he wanted them back since hes playing Reboot too. Lets all go spam the Forum on the official site and ask them to bring the VIP coupons back, if they see we are alot they might do it after all.

there might be an overestimation of the level of authority this GM has within nexon's corporate hierarchy.

I've had GMs straight up lie to me before (had two similar tickets about the same issue, but in different affected categories, so different GMs). One kept telling me there was nothing to be done after supposedly asking other people, while the other said it was a known bug and that they were looking into it.
It's like they're required to bullcrap their way out of all inquiries as fast as possible.

Right there. That is where you fell for the charade. They did not ask anyone. They have no idea if it is a bug or not.
@fruitloopdingus: if there is so many things wrong with this community then why post here and ask people to support your silly idea? this is the same thing as when people who b*tch and cry about everything on reddit and feel the need to make a petition every other day because of every little thing they find wrong or don't agree with.
i don't see why nexon should be grateful to you for spending a few bucks on some hairstyles
@xxmcheifxx: May I know what I falled for in all this? I asked the GM if this was a bug. He went ask and confirmed it was not. The removal of VIP coupons in CS are intended as they see is best in Reboot currently. I didnt fall for anything there buddy. You are oddly putting yourself in superiority saying all these people (The ones who "fall" for these responses and including me according to you) are less than you or more naive than you, because you wouldnt fall for it. I dont get your point honestly, you came here just to write that but its pointless. The point of this thread was to ask support of people who also wanted the VIP coupons to come back.
And to answer @siaty When i say go "spam" the forums, it was an exageration, I didnt mean it literally. I suggested for everyone who supports this idea to join up in a thread there and let nexon know we are many.
Thats why so many things wrong with Basil and its community, you all try to point out the negative or have something to say to make the other feel crappy. Yes now im salty because im surrounded by trolls and ignorants or narcisist. End of thread now, this is annoying me and I dont want to keep going.

@alesanah Because when you use the maximum amount of salon slots and there's a new hair you're interested in, you'll have to decide which hairs to keep in your salon slots and which ones to delete. Let's say you deleted a hairstyle and later changed your mind about it - you want it back, but your salon slot is full already, which is why you deleted the hair off your salon slot the first place. That way, when the hair you deleted comes back into rotation, you'll have to buy royal coupons to get it back once again and decide which other hairs to remove from your salon slot this time around. Therefore, Nexon earns more money from you since you bought more royal hair coupons in an attempt to get the hair back.
Back then before there were salon slots, we couldn't save any hairs at all; the one you currently have is the only one you have. Whenever you're interested in a new hair or want a change, you couldn't save the hair you currently have and then go back to it if you change your mind, hence giving Nexon more money by buying hair coupons. Be thankful you have some salon slots to begin with at least.
People need to stop believing livechat and ticket GM responses as the word of god.
Truth is: these people have no idea about anything about the game. They follow standard guidelines:
- "I can sympathize with you as I am a fellow gamer myself, and I understand this <situation> is frustrating for you"
- "Yes, this feature is glitched, sorry."
- "Our team is aware of this glitch and is looking into it. Please look at our website for any updates."
etc.
It's mind-boggling how many people are falling for these standardized responses.
Don't spam on the official forum, unless you mean you will only open a thread to suggest that. I believe they start reboot cash shop with basic things and they will add more NX beauty/equipment in the future.
@markred626: Im sorry? Am I really qqing? Gurl you need a reality check because the only thing I did here is ask for VIP coupons back. The fact that they are missing isnt making me even a little salty, I just find it odd. "Be grateful you have reboot" as if we begged for it. No, Nexon made reboot because their game was dieing and people were tired of p2w. Reboot revived this game. Its Nexon who should be grateful.
