Perm additional pendant slot and way too much funding in untradeable gear.

THAT'S WHAT IM SAYING ... BaMs are the reason maplestory is still relevant in my life so I will stick by them till I actually quit. This upcoming revamp has a FEW flaws but overall it's a good change.
And my guess GMS will be getting this at the end of march/ beginning of april since the resistance changes are part of the second chapter of black heaven iirc

I'm going to keep my Battle Mage despite the revamp. I don't like how the auras can't be stacked anymore (which makes no sense as they all do different things) and it's a little annoying that I can't bring my own army of reapers to fight the armies in DIPQ (seriously, if you've never tried it, do it - it gets insane), but the core combat of the class is there, so I don't think it'll be too bad. At least it's not like how they revamped Mercedes and made their combos require more complicated strings (meaning I have to totally re-learn the class).
I'm still iffy about the revamp, i'll continue to play my battlemage until the update hits, then i'll decide whether or not i like it
@Fryber: People are going bat $h!t crazy over a few cds and a few damage nerfs(which wasn't even that much of a damage nerf since iirc 55% dmg was converted into % m atk which is better) But Idk I kind of like the concept of our auras being situational now. Yeah stacking auras is great and all but now having multiple BaMs in a party will be a huge benefit. I like that we can tele in mid air and dark shock has some use now. Overall the revamp was not perfect but they didn't drastically change our playstyle so I am grateful for that. Battle master adds two more lines of attack to FB which is great especially it being @ 300% base damage. If 5th job is really in the making then I guess we have more to look forward to

What convinced you the revamp might be good?
They get nerfed dmg wise though.
Not as hard as mech but still.
Only WH is getting dmg buff

Agreed 100%, I really don't understand why this revamp gets so much hate. At first I was skeptical if I would like it or not but after really doing my research I like the revamp very much. I wonder when exactly it will hit GMS

i came back to bam for the revamp, really could use a new playing style in a not so OP job (bosswise)
I haven't changed characters since BaMs came out during Big Bang.
I'm not nearly as invested as I used to be anyway so I'll just keep playing as a BaM until I quit.
Switched to FP for better boss potential

I'm still baffled why the Blows had to be changed like that, but other than that I'm still interested in it.
I mained a BaM awhile ago so I might go back to him but that is a big maybe.
