A good class for pioneering
Khaini is dead and has a bad economy, but everything I have is currently locked away in that server.
I plan to make a character in Bera, but I will have no funds whatsoever. So Basil what is a class that isn't squishy enough to be a pot burn, yet a class I could main?
Currently one of the Demons seems like a good choice, any other suggestions?

Paladins. Ultra tanky, never have to use HP or MP pots because you can use a Jr. Boogie familiar to replenish your MP and have a 4th job skill to replenish your HP.
The Demon is a good option, their weapons tend to be cheaper. The other side to that is that they'll also be buying Warrior gear which is one of the most expensive. I would also recommend a Battle Mage. You clearly know their pros and cons already. Paladin is also a viable option. Their weapons aren't as cheap as the Demon's weapon and they still use warrior armor, but they give a lot of bang for their buck. Marksman are also a good option, given that Archer gear is the cheapest (bar their weapons).
I didn't use a single pot on my DA 1-124, so that's good. Plus.. If you don't like that class you can use it to make a bit of mulah for a class you'll make afterwards, and you'll already have the 10% dmg link. Bishops are also great because they can self heal, and are always sought after in parties.
