Now that Empress shoulder is out, how to manage items?
Hey guys, I'm a 191 Female char NL. I want to maximize my damage as much as possible without needing to spend too much on mesos.
I currently have the following Raven Horn items:
- 9% LUK 7 att 5 LUK Cape
- 15% LUK 16 att 6 LUK Overall
- 3% LUK 10 att 34 LUK Hat
- 3% LUK 3 att 19 LUK Shoe
- 17% LUK 32 att 16 LUK Gloves
- Claw which I will not be replacing.
I am going to save some money up for an Emp shoulder, which in total (cubing+scrolling) would cost about 3b. My current meso count is about 6b.
I have a few things to do.
1. Cube the hat. My hat is currently 3L Epic. 10 Attack is pretty good for me at this point and I'm not sure if I should continue cubing the Epic Hat, after dropping 22 cubes on it during hot time, it never went 6% LUK or Unique. This means that I will either a. have to spend money on the Hat or b. buy a better Empress hat, preferably 24%+, which would be ~5b+. (Which means I would have to merch it out a bit more.)
2. Make a better shoe. My shoe is currently 2L Rare. I'm planning on using Chaos Goodness scrolls on an Empress shoe, which won't cost much, but then I will have to cube this 10+attack(hopefully) or better shoe. Unfortunately, this means I have to cube this shoe too, which would cost upwards of a few bills just to get it to 15%+ LUK. Otherwise, I may be able to buy a 15%+LUK Shoe; however, this will probably cost too much money, and there may not be too many around.
Afterwards, these are my two options.
1. Replace my gloves with Dojo gloves. I know that the Dojo gloves are better if they are the top, or the 2-10 gloves. However, my max Dojo time is around 11.5 min, and it takes less than that in order to get into top 10. I could either sell my gloves to risk trying to get the top tier gloves or I could keep them and go with a different option.
2. Replace overall with Top and Bottom. This would be the most damage-increasing solution, I would think, due to the potential of adding more than 20%+ LUK. However, Female top and bottom in Khaini are hard to find, and even then, I would have to spend around 2b each for 15% top and bottom. I may or may not be able to sell the overall first then manage to get my hands on the top and bottom. In addition, I must waste my armor ATK scrolls along with Chaos of Goodness, which I may or may not want to save.
No tl;dr on this one. Let me know what you guys think and if there's anything wrong with my reasoning. Thank you to Nexon for finally bringing out the Empress Shoulder.

I think the plan is to go for Chaos Root Abyss top and bottom and scratch the Emp set completely!
Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a prescrolled, good pot item instead of cubing yourself? Unless your item is already well scrolled I guess.

If I am able to upgrade the rest of my equips and get a better Internet connection, I will get the top 10 Dojo gloves and wear them instead for the time being.
Why would you sell your gloves and get dojo. Keep your gloves attempt dojo its not like you cant keep both.

Replace your overall with top and bottom. You can gain +40% luk with just top and bottom pair.
You could get a top/bot but dojo gloves would be cheaper since dojo cost no money. I guess you can go for 15-18% top/bot for improvement but it will be more expensive.
So do you guys think the amount of damage gained by replacing my gloves with Dojo gloves would be more than replacing my overall with a Top and Bottom?
Save and get a dominator pendandt for 20b
@fungusbrain: theres boss dmg too so 27% worth of boss and total beats those gloves imo unless the gloves make 1/4 of your range :O

the boss damage from dojo gloves alone is better than empress glove.
But if you have the 30% boss set effect, then empress glove is obviously better.

Even if I could only get the top 50 gloves do you think I should replace my gloves for that one? I don't know if it's worth it in that case, 17% LUK / 32 att > 12% dmg and 12% all stats?
