Is the New Nw going to be Op?

If it is then I think I may come back because I haven't played much since potentials were released. Basically what I'm saying is, if I start out with 0% luk, would it be hard for me to deal average damage? All I have is a 10atk wg and 27atk VSS. Or is it just not worth it to play?

Night Walkers are gonna be pretty op on release yeah. As to whether it's worth comming back? That's for you to decide. Potential cubes can now be mined, crafted and by extension traded with mesos nowadays so if you have a good amount of money you can get %luk anyway without buying nx. Idk how much your wg and vss are gonna be worth nowadays because of how much endgame gear has changed but they would probably be super useful for leveling ur nw. As for dealing decent damage, that depends on what "decent" is to you. You can probably do a nice amount of damage and solo some of the easier bosses with just scrolled gear but obviously you're not going to ever be truly endgame without any potential on your gear.

I wish people would stop mentioning a nerf that barely does anything to them.

You can generally hit 140 just fine with nothing but free equips. Damage only really becomes an issue when you start DIPQ/SH.

@simaini I got some from gachapon from the Unleashed patch! They're pretty subpar but hey, every bit of attack helps.
Nowadays, I personally find that I don't even need to transfer my gear to a character to successfully play it to level 140. Some characters are worse than other in mobbing, but NW is pretty dang powerful from what I've heard.

I do have tradable totems, link skills, evolving + abolute rings, 27 atk BWG with SE neb, etc etc but I don't even need to use them to get to 140.
there are tradable totems? o.o
