Shield for both stats and resell value.
Shield is the best option for mages.
You get to scroll it, add attack, and have potential on it.
No reason to ever use secondary once you have even a remotely decent shield.
you can also use shield for other mages if you ever decide to quit so shield
Basically even if you fail all your slots and only enhance a VIP shield, it's already better than secondary. So shield.
shield scrolled is better fo sho especially if u get like 10 m atk or more on it
