Got Banned For No Reason
So, I was training today by myself, and out of the blue a GM Police message pops up saying something about a hack being detected.
It wasn't the first time I got that dumb pop up, even though I have never used any hacking device, so I just pressed "End Chat", so I could keep training.
After clicking "End Chat" I was disconnected and when I tried to log back on, I got booted from MS.
I tried logging in by using the game launcher only to find out I got banned for 24 hours.
I know that waiting 24 hours is not a big deal, but it pisses me off that I got banned for something I did not do. Also, what if this sort of crap happens again?
I submitted a ticket to Nexon, but I doubt I'll get an answer any time soon.
This is the first time I've been banned, so will I still be on the rankings?
Also, did anyone else experience a similar situation?

There doesn't seem to be ANY specific "trigger" for it.
Everyone seems to have a "theory" as to what causes it, but from reading reports from players here, and from what's happened to me it appears that ANYTHING can trigger it.
I've merely gone into a new map and as soon as I appear (not lagging, no one else showing on the mini-map, not jumping, not attacking, not doing anything), I get that popup and get disconnected.
It used to happen now and then to a few people, but since the Big Bang patch it's been happening to a LOT of people and a LOT more often now.
We all need to go to the Maple site and file a Support Ticket asking them to FIX this. If only a few people complain, they won't bother to put it at the top of their pile of things that need to be fixed.
sitting on a chair ok, because you may not be afk that's somewhere in the nexon rules I read xD
But I also had this while I was in FM.
Don't know the reason either.
My hermit got banned for a month on 1/5 for the same thing. It's been 3 weeks, no reply to my ticket. Oh well, at least by the time I come back I get to use all those energy capsules to get 4th job >

i just got the same message today when i was training my assassin against a boss that was almost dead.
then i had to restart the whole boss again with full hp (that boss at kerning square and my assassin is 38)
@GunPowder: Well, you can still participate in events, just not nx events. And the only way to buy nx....is though buying the card. -_-
Edit: I'm not lying. It may work for you, but it's not working for me. When I try to do free offers, I get error code = 0. When I charge paypal nx I get error code = 0

I think it was because u got the horntail/pink bean buff from FM. I mean it's clearly an in-game mod hack.
Now that your banned once, your no longer allowed to character transfer
Happened to me once and I can't world transfer for life...
They think laggers have lag switches and then ban them.

@GunPowder: Well it was supposed to be Hell Banned, but I am not sure, I still cannot log on, and it is not saying anything about how long I am suspended so I am assuming I am. Though I just get disconnected from the Police pop ups on my new main....

I thought the same, when the typhon glitch was still here (where it would a/b you randomly on the tyhon map), got the police I immediately closed my widow by using alt +f4 but you know what happened, I was still banned for a month. They may have a crappy ban system but when it says ban, your banned no way around it.
I've gotten the pop up twice but never been banned. I think it has to do with lag somehow.

If the window says you have been "auto-banned for such and such" then it's final, closing your window won't do anything as you are already registered as "banned for x amount of hours/days" in their database but if it was "disconnected for hack detection" then you can just log-on like nothing happened
Alot of people say you get it when you attack or mob monsters too quickly making GMs thinking your doing some sort of hacking to kill them all.

That's weird. It was the 3rd time I got the message when I got banned for the first time.

I got the message about 5 times now on different chars. None of them was a ban, but I got a ban for 1 month right after the Big Bang patch juts because I was testing my new abilities in PyPQ (Dark Flare) -__-
i got d/ced but not banned for 24 hrs.
Likewise, and just kicked.
When you see monsters that are paused in one position and attack them, the message will popup.

I got it too, but didn't get banned.
I've heard that it could happen when you attack to fast... Mostly happens after you got some laggs.

yeah, had the same issue, but I didn't get banned. It just kicked me out.
I love how Nexon is banning innocent people and letting the WH hackers have at it at all the populated maps... You'd think they would at least have those places under control...
