This is getting really, really freaking annoying. Has anyone been experiencing these issues or is it just me? And if you have, how have you been dealing with it?

Have you tried starting with the game launcher or through the website?
Try changing the compatibility. Right click the game launcher.exe properties to change it.
Oh, okay I shall.
But I'm pretty sure I need to rub the RAM sticks vigorously with some rough paper towels and or some fleece material.

What r u TAlking about? Do WHat i say
if u want something easy to do, um take out ur ram sticks, and just wash them with bleach. But remember to dry them with a cloth before u put them back in
This will cleanse ur pc and u will be able to run maplestory fine

@hangwithhung Try taking out ur processor from ur motherboard (located in ur pc) then put it in the microwave, and heat it for about 5 mins. REmember to put thermal paste after and before u take it out of the microwave. It shud work 100%
tried all of those things. even tried microwaving my hard drive cos sometimes water might get in and you just never quite know.
unplug ur computer for the rest of ur life
um try plugging and replugging the mouse, if tat doesnt work try it with the keyboard.
