Keep Fp or move to Il?

Math question to keep your brains from rotting over spring break!

OK so my FP hits roughly 4m per line with crits when I use all stacks of DoTs and then boom boom. I realize that ILs won't be too efficient until I get to a godly range but until then, does anyone know roughly how much I'd be hitting with an IL if I use FO + CL? (I think my clean range is like 120k)

Also, training's getting kind of boring and I need to make monies. That being said, which character would be the most efficient to boss with in terms of control and damage? Or in the end is it really just control vs dmg...

@hangwithhung, personally I hate Fire Poison mages and love Ice Lightnings, so in my opinion I/Ls are a lot funner, easier to control, and much better at end game bossing. Just at your current range, you would deal a lot more damage as a fire poison than an ice lightning because of mist eruption.

hmm. well, what about when it comes to end-game bossing?
I feel that I/Ls are a bit smoother and faster and they're not tied to a spot as much as FPs are, granted FPs can dish a ton of dmg, really fast...
I'm considering doing easy gollux, easy magnus, etc to make monies. Do either of you guys think ILs are easier to control?

With 120k range I think you would hit around 1-1.2m on crits I think with chain lightning and frozen orb might be like 800-900k. Personally I left f/p for i/l because of the fact that flame haze glitched in dojo which really killed my time having to worry about knocking the boss back and forth, also right after I switched I did dojo and my time was like a minute or so better.

Keep your fire poison. With 120,000 range I think I hit about 800,000-1,000,000 on my I/L. With your current range and a full stack of DoTs, your Fire Poison mage will hit considerably more on bosses with eruption than an Ice Lightning mage would with chain lighting.
