Demon Slayers Di vs Heros Rb

Every time I look up these forums about who mobs better, everyone invariably picks DS and Lumi cos they get a huge range. The problem is I don't have a 2m-2m range on my DS so Demon Cry doesn't exactly one hit everything which means my main mobbing move is now Demon Impact. Given that it only hits 4 mobs at a time, it's not exactly a mobbing move that outclasses others' mob moves. On the other hand, Hero's RB hits more monsters and is slightly faster so I kind of feel it compensates for the lack of reach the skill has.

Come bossing, I'm not quite sure what to think; Heros get to maximize damage on one target and then they get all that %boss and %dmg for status moves and whatnot, whereas DS can just activate Blue Blood and literally double their DPS... Heros get to Magic Crash while DS can bind and both get to have decent status resist, though Heros can't have it up 100% of the time.

Since the NX Transfer event is days over from ending, I want to kind of settle on one character to deck out I find both Heros and Demon Slayers equally fun in their own different ways and seeing as I don't want to double dip on my somewhat low funds, (I have a half decent CRA set and a faf axe both chars can use) I gotta make a decision for which character to stick with for a long while.

Given that I mainly spend my time at SDH/FDH or at ToT (it's actually kinda nice to grind there now) and that I'm not a hardcore bosser with a kinda crappy range (my DS has ~70k unbuffed I think, not sure about my Hero if i gave it the axe, probably ~50k?) and I really only Zak, Hilla, and Papa but am looking forward to doing Easy Gollux and a handful of other bosses, does anyone have any opinions on which character is easier to mob and boss with or both?

Oh, also I'm looking for somewhat end-game so if possible, any opinions on which character in the end is most efficient to fund?

Thanks!

@vincent360: ikr? but it would be too powerful... so Nexon had to split them into Chibi Hero and Chibi Demon Slayer.

oh.. that's good then :O thank youu. also, does anyone know if BaMs are worth playing with afterward? cos BaMs and DS are all really pro at training but i'm not sure which one has more utility in the end.

Ds' Dark Meta skill will make all your attacks ignore DR for the 1st 20%/seconds (not sure) of its duration once you unlocked the appropiate hyper skill.

lol but ill need Crash to stop Dark Meta from killing myself... and a Heros' mobility pales in comparison to Demon Slayer's massive teleport. *hopelessly asks Nexon to fuse the two classes' skill sets*

DS gets a bind, Hero gets Magic Crash. Crash is better on bosses that cast DR such as Pink Bean, Bind is better on bosses such as CRA, Magnus and ones that are just plain annoying.

@Wubzey: whaaaaaaatttt. that's near freaking useless. FP and Kannas get auras that ignore DR; everyone else's periodic-attack based skills are summons which don't trigger DR. why can't DS' have that poo..
haha, thanks for the input. looks like a DS might be best to train with and given its status resistance and binding abilities, and not to mention DR ignore (even if it is just for a little while) it might be a bit more relaxing to boss it, too. Thanks!
The Dr ignore is only on the dark meta orbs that attack periodically, not on your other attacks

If you boss a lot and don't give 2 shts about training.. Go Hero, if you train a lot then go Demon Slayer.. They're by far more fun than Heroes, easy to train. Plus Demon Impact is always 100% Crit when you use it, and full map attack is fun with Demon Cry.

Heroes are known to be good bossers their survivability is just cancerous though makes me hate it

You mention that mainly spend your time at trainig sites. If you're not going to be bossing that much, play a Demon Slayer. This will save you a considerable amount of pain. Heroes are impossible to train. Your Demon Cry may not 1HKO but it has excellent range and gives bonus EXP. Plus you can super jump around the map. Heroes have terrible mobbing: we can rush and we can pull. No movement whatsoever. Many of our skills are 1v1 based. I'm willing to bet that a Hero is the hardest class to Gollux on, sans Dual Blade, since we have no recovery skills and we can't hit him from the safe zone.

If you intend to boss quite a lot, obviously its a very different story. With terrible mobbing ability comes outstanding 1v1 potential. I have a 150k clean range and I slap down 5.5mil crits on bosses 75% of the time, up to 7mil once I pop my hypers. Heroes are insane bossers, although slightly squishy due to the lack of survival skills. Demon Slayers, while still very good, don't quite have as much damage on bosses. Instead, they have much higher status resist and overall survivability, with two healing skills.

I'd recommend a Demon Slayer to you, since you seem to train a lot. They're one of the top mobbers, and are still very good at bossing. And with Blue Blood you have more lines so if somehow you manage to reach 2m-2m, you'll be hitting more than a Hero.
