Da or Zero easier to fund?

I haven't had the chance to make a Zero yet but from what I hear, the damage per line for skills used in training is roughly 10x the range.
So as damage per attack seems somewhat equal, my next question is whether or not it's easier to fund DAs or Zeros.

My DA has roughly 80k range clean, and it'll jump to 130k fully buffed, and I really don't even have any equips cos I'm broke as heck lol. I have a bunch of %MaxHP from set effects though (cPB set, Boss Accessory Set, Lv. 140 Warrior set). In the way of %STR though, I really don't have much.

One issue I'm kind of running into while bossing is DAs need to "set up" in the sense that I need to use Exceed 5 times (I think it's 3 with hypers) to get into Overload state (I think? I never pay attention to the skill names anymore). It's not much of an issue but I'd like to be able to start out bossing hitting max damage without worrying about jumping around and having to keep up my counters From what I see on some videos and other people's gameplay, Zero can kind of jump right in and they don't really have to setup for anything.

Can anyone give me some insight into the class? And can anyone who has played both DA and Zero give me their opinion about either class?

@taron123: lol i really hope so but there's been no solid confirmation. Nexon's released all this information about like everything except Zeros haha. I really, really hope so. Seriously looking forward to a class that I can do bosses for monies.

@trumanB yeahhh the storyline is something i'm considering. Evan was all storyline though and that one kinda killed it for me but I hear Zero's is actually really good. However, funding is still a big factor in considering whether or not I want to play a class because sooner or later, i do want to be able to solo things. but i think the playstyle MIGHT be something I'm interested in. I generally don't like chaining only because most of the combos (like on DBs and Mercs) do such little damage (cos I didn't have a massive amount of funding) but Zeros might chaining fun again.

@usmctyrell i kid you not! i'm really hyped for it but I might be entirely wrong about when it's coming out sooooo hopefully it comes out soon... i want to give it some smexii damage skins <3

I also want to recommend Zero not because of funding, but because it's also a lot of fun- the skills are cool, the story-quest is pretty interesting as well .

@sokair oh okay so stacking is integral to play... as far as I've been led to believe (and a lot of what I believed has changed since I started this thread) maximizing attack was only about tagging in A/B to wait off cooldowns. that +%crit and -%def is freaking amazing... useless for mobs u can OHKO but I guess I'm not wrong when I say it does wonders against any boss?

@chrisjohnson I see some red colored scrolls drop at Hilla which says it has a chance to add a weapon for Zero. Is it kind of the same thing? And what happens if it goes through, do I start out with a fresh equip or do the +atks carry over?

@memberz0nly so I guess the +15% crit rate ring will be useful... Imma get it.

@usmctyrell rumors have been passing around on basil but I've heard a few plausible claims that it's coming back on May 11.

@ChrisJohnson: i failed twice LOL i stopped trying after that and instead got sweet water scroll with sweet water glasses, cape, tattoo, and weapon for +48 att and +95 all stats
@Hangwithhung:Each skill has another skill from beta or alpha that links to it, so your other character actually attacks with you, not just switching. You have 2 characters out at the same time attacking if you control it well

@Memberz0nly: well i know it can be placed into storage only once and after removal/equip, transfer is disabled permanently. oh well, if it comes back on may 11 i can just wait to take out the ring
oh omg that's bootifur 100% crit rate ftwwwww now i get to see consistent red lines :] oh hmm... i was under the impression that tag teaming only allowed for a different pool of skills which linked. I had NO idea they stacked tho :O omg... combo breaker time.
@memberz0nly hmm... so then what do I do about set effects? I'd like something of a +60% Boss dmg akin to what Fafnir/SW has to offer.

How do I get points to change/enhance my equips? Through quests? Yum... I love quests And that sounds good, I'd rather not have to enhance both separately... so happy.

Oooh yea the hair and face... tbh it's probably what i've spent the most NX on. Face and hair are always nasty but I guess if it has Tot's quest, it's got the VIP hairs available. I do like most of the VIP hair...
You can get the 4 set Fafnir effect by using a Lucky Root Abyss Scroll for Zero. Just drop it on your weapon and hope it works.

just to be more specific,
-when alpha attacks, crit rate increases by 3% (stacks up to 10 times)
-when beta attacks, total dmg increases by 1% (stacks up to 10 times)
-beta has an on-hit skill that drops defense
---armor split, 20% chance to drop target's defense by 10% (stacks up to 5 times)

zero just has so much innate boss and ied it's ridiculous lol

@hangwithhung: Well the ring is account bound so you can switch it between characters i believe.
-crit rate is 100% i believe, min crit rate is 55% i believe every time alpha attacks he stacks crit dmg or rate...i cant remember
-every time beta attacks-->higher att more def ignore stacking
-the stacking effect stacks on both characters as long as you keep switching during attacking...or as they call it, "tagging"

@Memberz0nly: WAH THEN I MUST GET DAT RINQQQ. You mentioned the 100% crit rate earlier. Is that natural? Or only under certain cirucmstances? Otherwise I won't give my Zero a crit ring and I'll save it for another character
@members0nly thanks for the quick summary! it's definitely something i'm highly considering. just a question about the NX though, I have a bunch of androgynous NX equips (not male or female specific). Does this not work on Zeros/Do Zeros require gender specific clothing?

How does the weapon system work? Do I have two weapons I have to upgrade or one weapon that like converts between both Alpha and Beta? And also, if I wanted to apply a Damage Skin, so I need to use two skins or does one skin apply on both Alpha and Beta?

Thanks!
-your weapon upgrades every 10 levels on it's own, final weapon comes with +30% boss ignore and i think +20% monster def ignore
-weapon comes with potential and can be reset with points, which you can farm for (saves money on cubes)
-if you dont like your weapon you can purposely blow it up and scroll it again. Your potential resets though
-when you upgrade one you upgrade both
-dmg skin applies to both
-gender specific gear can be equipped only on the gender (beta=girl alpha=boy)
-you can equip androgynous gear
-NX expensive-->was talking about their hair and face....blehhhhh

definitely Zero, he has a SLEW of abilities that will aid i shall include
-100% crit rate, plus dmg stacking
-never run out of MP or HP
-when my range was 55k i hit 1.5M per hit beta and 900k alpha each hit
-free boss damage and free ignore
-defense taken reduce and defense ignore link card
-exp character card
-excellent storage char, comes with half of all storage available
-15 sec invincibility skill and revive skill
-SO much more
-quests with 2x quest amp, you can get to 180 in 2-3 days

Cons
-takes a while to get use to controls
-bossing can be difficult because of above
-NX and outfits costs A LOT for this character
-skill tree kinda confusing? but they're guides online so...

That's mostly it for me actually....
