Which aura should I use, and when? So we have an aura to increase speed, damage, and defense. Then we have drain, and decrease enemy defense. I realize that most people will tell me it's situational and so far I kind of see the value in this; at Czak, there are a lot of status moves so it's probably best to use Blue Aura, then. At training, it's probably best to use Draining. But, when should I use Hasty, Dark, or Weakening? For example, is +20% damage better or worse than -20% Enemy Def? Or does this depend on my current stats and if I'm looking to survive more than I am to do damage or something?
Post revamp Ele-staff or Fafnir? I'm all about that speed 'bout that speed. Ele-staffs are quite possibly my favorite weapons on the entire game and it's kind of hard to put one down after feeling how fast a BaM can attack with it. I haven't played with a Slower attack staff since level 65 and I really don't plan on doing so. However, it looks like after the next revamp we'll lose some of +attack speed so I almost feel that I [i]can't[/i] use a staff with a Slower attack speed. So I guess my questions are: 1) Post Revamp, are we actually able to reach cap attack speed with a Faf, [b]without[/b] the use of the MPE Green Pots? 2) If not, seeing as Ele-staffs suffer in damage as well as not having any set effects, what other sources should I r
