The Anime Inuyasha
I just finished Blood+ on my anime marathon for this summer and I've been thinking of restarting Inuyasha. The only things I remember from it are the very scattered memories of episodes from the old Adult Swim days, staying up till midnight to watch. Is it worth it? I remember the Band of Seven arc was pretty enjoyable but I didn't watch the entire thing. Anime streaming didn't exist at that time... I was going to start over from episode 1. LMK if it's worth it. Next on my list is also Neon Genesis Evangelion: is it worth it?

Inuyasha isn't really good as an anime, it's better in manga.
I have never watched Neon Genesis Evangelion but I heard it's really good if you like mecha/psychological/creepy stuff I guess.
Is Inyuasha worth it? No.
Should you watch Neon Genesis Evangelion? Yes. It's a staple of anime that revolutionized most of what you see today. Watch the entire 26 episode series (don't worry about the last two episodes not making sense), followed by the movie 'End of Evangelion'. No, you will not understand it. Yes, it will be entertaining. Following that watch the two Rebuild of Evangelion movies ('You are (Not) Alone' and 'You can (Not) Advance'). The third of four movies is due out this Autumn. You can skip the movies 'Death & Rebirth of Evangelion' since it's basically a condensed retelling of the series (Rebirth) along with the first half of 'End of Evangelion'.
when I was little I never understood what was going on
I used to get scared from looking at the monsters they fought though. So creepy-looking. :C

Do not watch it. You will struggle. I too remember watching it late at night on adult switch. Once you get into episodes 30+, it becomes absolutely unbearable to watch. I know you will struggle so don't watch it. Struggler

-Kagome has Inuyasha whipped
-Some wolf guy with a jewel hits on Kagome
-Kikyo is some weird ghost girl. isnt she supposed to be dead
-Naraku appears and disappears
-miroku hits on every girl

Inuyasha is about as good as Detective Conan...which is not very good at all.
@heyitsmexD: If you don't mind repetitiveness in an anime, I'd say it's worth it. I just wish there was a guide to select specific episodes for an abridged version of the anime.

I immediately lost interest in Inuyasha every time the story took on a new arc I just ended up skipping to the final episodes.

Also, as a kid I could never figure out if Seshomaru(sp?) was a good or bad guy haha
