@hocxd Right before Tempest.
Mechanic biased, but honestly there are pros and cons that others stated already.
resistance are getting revamped again?
I have a lvl 158 Wild hunter and a lvl 121 Mech (Just made it)
And I would have to say I personally like the Wild hunter more because of:
A) The mobility
B) The overall awesomeness of the jaguar
C) The ability to move while you attack
Mechs are also pretty snazzy, here are some other reasons why mechs are fun:
A)Slow/Tanky, but they have teleport moves/dashes/high jumps
B)Stationary fighting, no hitback whatsoever
C)Unlimited siege mode (More DPS)
Even when resistance revamp comes out, I'm going to have to decide whether I want to play my Wild Hunter or my Mechanic. Its going to be hard...
But if you're solely basing your character on overall damage, mechanic wins by a long shot.

Mechanics do more damage overall I believe, but WH are more mobile.
For some reason i read wild hunters vs meth...
wild hunter is great
but survivability at high lv is terrible </3
