General Darkknight

A letter to my beloved family of Forum 44 I don't know how many of you will actually see this thread. It's been a long time since Basil's sudden change many years ago, which led to me being unable to log on nor make an account. I tried one last time today, and to my surprise, I was able to finally log on to my account for the first time in a long time. However, by now, most of us (myself included) have already moved on from our Basiler lives. I am aware that you have formed a Skype group to keep in touch, so I'm honestly glad. I just wanted to let everybody know how I've been doing in case you were wondering. I still play Maple (shocker, I know!) and will probably still be playing this game until it dies. Once upon a time, before 4th job was released, There lived a powerful class called the Dragon Knight who was so powerful, that everyone qq'ed about how powerful he was when teamed up with a Bishop. Then one day, Nexon HQ released 4th job, which allowed the max level of every class (except lolcygnusknights) to reach level 200. It was then that the Dragon Knight thought, HEY! I have a great idea! I'll become a Dark Knight, since it has no relation to my current class whatsoever! And from that day forth, the "Dark Knight" was continuously punished by in every class update, because she was angry at the stupid Dragon Knight. The End.

Does anyone feel like adding a storyline behind our class? This also applies for all other adventurers as well. One of the things I love most are stories, and seeing how each adventurer sub-branch doesn't really have a story behind them, I feel we could give them more character. Since the current Maplestory seems to be so intent on advancing the storyline of Maple to attract more players, they could also put more effort into their older classes. It's simple yet effective! I personally want Maplestory to give me a reason why we suddenly swapped from Dragon Knights to Dark Knights.

A random person will chat invite you, claim that they recently made that new character, and that they are your friend. This is where the sly part comes in. They will tell you to "guess" who they are. This way, you will be the one who makes this person your friend. In order to counter this, make a a fake but believable name. E.g."guess who I am" "I don't know" "Think rich and cool" <- Yes he really said that to me. "Um... James" <- Fake name. "Yes James." <- HAH! He thought James was real. Then
