NX boxes was great advice but it's a long term plan. Try to keep all but one medium priced item, sell that just to float you but keep the rest for as long as you can. I returned right before the spring boxes stopped and because everyone sold their items fairly early on by the time I opened my boxes people were hungry to complete sets etc so I probably made some more money then those selling their NX items early on, I'm still sitting on some items and will bring them out when everything is themed christmas. Definitely sit on those transparent glasses as long as you get, you want a few not so great surprise box contents to lapse first then put them up for max and ask for offers, the eye and face are normally the most sort after because players want to show those bright eyes off....

When I returned I didn't know gach was so lame (and I wasted my NX on that first, however I got semi lucky and ended up with rare chairs back to back so was able to sell those for a pretty penny BUT I then tried another run and got stuck with a whole load of crudy maces.

Other then NX purchases, (from one returning player to another) I've been making money off old beginner items that were once upon useless but now worth a bit to collectors (check all your mules both bags and what they are wearing, if you find maple bandannas, palettes, flag swords (for example) and the such move them to your main to sell. The explorer starter sets have changed also so even the old starter equips like toy pin wheels and dandy silver sneakers sell for a few mil, more if you bother to scroll and star them.

One other avenue I've been doing is checking out all the shops every night before bed just to get familiar with prices. There are a few players quitting right now as well as some old returning players who don't know the value of their stock (because it's either retired or just rare now) and they're selling high priced items really low. For example I purchased a Electrifying Bunny Chair for 14mil and it's over a bil on my realm, I contacted the player (felt bad making so much off them and wanted to give some meso back) but they were leaving and didn't want my gift of meso,.. it's not common but probably once every 2-3 weeks I make one purchase like this. So I recommend taking the time to getting to know the market of your world as well because you could make some meso that way too. For me it's chairs, weird seeing a few shops sell a chair for a few bil then you see a chair for under 100mil.

So i got the 20k NX as returning player too, wasted some money on boxes and gach, looks like i got the worst stuff.. can anyone give a pricecheck? =P this is in broa btw.

@ibrahim65432: By glasses, I assume you mean the Trans Accessory? If so, then 600m is a proper price at the moment, but throughout the year its price stabilizes at 2-3b if no other events such as now come up. If the trans glasses return in boxes again, then chances are they'll go back to <1b.

So I just bought 6 and opened them and got:

1 - Gold-yellow Quote ring 2
2 - Black Kitty Slippers

right after I got the glasses I got tons of offer lool. Now highest I got is 600

Ill probably go with premium, but should I got for anniversary or the regular one?

Surprise boxes are the safe route but in order to make big profit, you'd have to wait until the market isn't saturated with the items in it. This would normally take several months or so.

If you prefer not to go this route, Gacha is the other option. There's also the less traveled route of cubing Unique secondaries for a atk or boss but that's an even tougher gamble than Gacha.

The market is saturated with surprise style items so it will be a bit harder to sell as theres a lot of competition

I personally spent my free 20k maple points on the Anniversary Surprise boxes (3,400 NX each). Out of the 6 boxes I opened (20,400 points), I got cowboy pants, transparent earrings, transparent gloves, wireless headset, and 2 other un-noteworthy items that netted me 150m and 200m.

In Khaini, the Cowboy pants as well as 2 transparent items are going for around 1b each, so obviously my luck did well.

Gacha is a hard gamble in my opinion. I'd stay away from it :x

The best thing that NX can buy you is a permanent pet when they come around, and auto-pickup for it. Then, I'd say premium surprise style boxes (there's anniversary ones right now) along with one of those 90 day self shops
