Censorship on this site, v2
@Sparkshooter has a great thread over here. It's too bad it was locked before anyone could get a word in edgewise.
The people want the freedom to be able to discuss this without the threads being locked.
In my opinion, it's only right that we should be able to discuss this amongst each other.
Transparency, as well as being open and honest with the users of this site is a necessity, otherwise users will quickly flock to another site that has popped up that is similar to basil. Yet the owner of this site (not basil) is kind, open, and honest and doesn't hide behind a veil of unresponsive, uncaring, silence.
Inb4bubr locks my thread 5ever.

I left this thread open for three pages and this happened:
[*]Mods are called Nazis (Rule 1)
[*]Advertisement of other sites (Rule 5)
[*]Spamming other threads (Rule 2)
Please submit a ticket in the future.
As the mods stated already, if you do not agree with the rules of basilmarket you can move along to another forum where such discussions are available.
Funny how a few of such sites are censored on this one, though.

I can't tell you are trolling or not o.o

Oh please share these other sites with us. Its like the President saying, "if you don't like the laws here, you can move to a different country." Doesn't work like that.

I've been a member on this site since 2008 and have never made a thread to directly complain about how it's being run.
That in and of itself should say something about how poorly the state of this site is being handled.
they need to know we are the money and income for this site owner. if we are pissed and stop using this site, we can show them who is the real boss.
This. As I stated earlier there are other forums out there. One specifically made with a layout directly like basil's but with a lot more reasonable rules.

Well, if everyone is on the same boat including trolls choosing not to troll in this specific thread and be civilized people, I don't see the problem. This is an issue that needs to be addressed. The people have spoken.
They can keep locking or deleting threads. People will continue to post them because they feel they are being treated wrongfully.

Mods say to submit a ticket to Basil. Thats nice but I don't want to get a automated response back.
Exactly! Come on...be a bit more humanistic with things.
Not only that but also they think we're talking about the dimming of threads.
No.
I'm talking about the nazi locking of threads.
People just wanna talk gdi.

Southperry is one. Eos is very approachable, for the most part.
I was more so talking about a site that is censored on basil, and if I say it I'll probably get banned (and it's not regarding the FM site).
