MapleStory not working after reformatting?

(maybe this should be in Tech)
I just reformatted my computer, and can't seem to get Maple to work.
I've tried adjusting it so that it runs in Windows XP Service Pack 3, to no avail.
The hack shield and black cipher do their thing, and then I just get the crash report popup.

Anyone have ideas for a solution? I usually run from gamelauncher, but I've tried going through the website as well.

@Icephoenix21 Thank you for the follow up and conformation. Now I know how to fix my own computer in the future and I'll be able to confidently offer this solution to other people knowing it might work!
Yes, I forgot to include that, but I also downloaded a C++ redistribute thingy. Also found on the official microsoft website.
Coupled with those and the fact that I updated all my drivers, I was able to play maplestory again.

Yeah, I downloaded like 200 updates last night before I went to bed.
Tried Maple this morning and it worked! Thanks for your help

In addition to redownloading and reinstalling the dotnet framework, try this:

Google: C++ Redistributable
Pick one of the top search results, depending on what version of Windows you have.
(It wasn't clear if you HAVE Windows XP SP3, or if you're just setting Maplestory to emulate XP SP3 with a different version.)
Download and install the one suitable for your Windows version.

It's hard to tell if this is the problem, or if it's something else related to Black Cipher because of all the other people having similar problems, but when reformatting your hard drive, all the little bits and pieces that had to be found and installed like this get wiped and need to be reinstalled, so there's a chance this might fix it.

I had this problem a week or two ago on two computers I reformatted. Did you update your graphics card driver? What does it say for your driver when you go to advanced settings?

EDIT: Here's a thread with a video of what I'm talking about.

Hm, I tried that (and restarted ofc) and it still doesn't work.
Looks like someone else is having this issue as well: http://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/1y14e3/crashing_after_black_cipher/
