Is the big one just a blown up version of the small one?
Sort of gives me a headace looking at it my eyes can't quite fouces on it, but I like it ,its different then all the other pictures I have seen.
Yeah it is, I tend to do that with sprites that I think are too small, that's why I offered both. :I
Any way that I can make it less headache-y for you? thanks.
Nice sprite. I'm interested in seeing how your others turn out.

Something you might want to add is a slightly darker outline around some parts, like the skin and the shirt. It'd make it pop a little more and easier to see.
Having said that, using more shades in your pixel art would really do wonders, but as it stands it's not bad; maybe an extra shade would be nice though.
For some odd reason, I wanted to minimize the use of shades on my drawing, that's why I used the outlines as dark shades too. (Borrowed that from cell-shading and whatnot)
Regardless, I appreciate the suggestion. I'll take it to heart and try my best to apply it next time, although I just finished another one so you might not notice the change yet.

@Shir: umm come again? I don't get what's bothering you, and it might help me improve so mind being more specific? Thanks!

The outline around the grey part of the face bothers me, but I think that's just me.

Otherwise, I really like it.
