@BurritoMan: Yeah that came out of left field. I feel like they're going to add some sort of facebook wannabe, built into maple next, for "socializing."

Well this is lame. Cross-dressing made playing on my buccaneer more fun.
Even tho we have the same hair i could tell your a boy. Those eyes give you away
Piercing Gaze is the same for males and females; the only difference is the eyebrows, and those are covered by his hair. But the hair is the dead giveaway.

@BurritoMan: Well I figured if it came to GMS that they'd ask us to confirm our gender after the patch was finished or something since they currently don't know our gender (although technically they shouldn't know KMS player's genders anymore either with the new law making them wipe personal data lol).

I don't see the big deal. If you want to be a G.I.R.L. that badly, then just lie and say your account belongs to a girl. It's not like GMS is linked to your Social Security Number or anything so there won't be any red flags saying that's not your real gender lol. Seems like a silly feature to me. Those new weapons sound awesome though.
No. It is now illegal for Korean game companies to require a KSSN for the signup process. Any KSSNs that Nexon Korea has stored have to be wiped from their databases by August 2014, and they have to stop accepting them by the end of this month.

ah this is very interesting, i guess this means more people will begin to play kms seeing as the kssn requirement will be removed (kms isn't ip blocked it just required the kssn to register)

@Kuraitou Interesting. Also, I thought Nexon simplified the registration process. Do they still ask you for your gender?

Edit: I just signed up for a new account using a spare email and gender selection wasn't a part of the process.
You pick male or female in the beginning of the character creation. I'm guessing this is what its talking about. (unless it means the gender of the person in KMS since they need a Social Security number to play)

This wont affect gms, it's a kms thing due to them being required to use a kssn (korean social security number) which makes the account have a gender linked to it
I blame the media. Children watch TV for so many hours a day it's too easy to brainwash them.

I don't see why they would make this honestly. No real help in gameplay, expect people looking for a bf/gf.

Not really worried about that since I made this account a looong time ago, where I just put honest info.
