No one minds if

I make threads/guides to get them stickied so people take a look at guides that are up-to-date right?

My Bishop guide got stickied on November 2013, and up to this date it has been updated, around this site, very few guides have been updated at least up to the R.E.D update. I might do my best, some things might be out of place, but an updated guide is an updated guide lol.

I will make the following guides:

-NL
-Phantom
-Paladin
-I/L Mage

I will list more in the future, but in order to make a decent guide, I need to know how the class works out (and at least be Lv. 100 for me) so... I expect to update them soon.

These guys who left the guide in the dust, if you would make this site a favor, update your guides, some people still look for decently made guides, we appreciate the work, but they still need to be up-to-date.

PD: Post the guides that are outdated and that people that made those guides have already quit/are not on MS anymore, thank you.

Mr. Basil only makes a guide "official" and stickied if it's well done, complete, and popular enough with Basil users to be given that kind of status.
People can submit tickets requesting a guide be made official if they find it useful and complete, and he takes that kind of interest as a positive indication of a guides usefulness. It can take a lot of work to keep a guide updated and to keep incorporating any new info either from changes in the game or from suggestions posted by other people in the followup posts, and that's another factor that goes into making a guide "official".
The more support from users, the better.

To be honest I don't know why people read maple class guides. It's very helpful and nice of people to take the time to write them but I can't see much use in it now a days when pretty much all skills get maxed and the two general rules to follow in all classes is:
1.) First few points into mobbing skill, max passives and buffs, then finish whatever left over into mobbing again until fourth then...
2.) Use SP into what you need as you see fit to the situation at hand.

The reason being that you don't know someone's funding and it's so varied at low levels it's silly to follow a strict guide on "put points into skill this level, then points into this skill next level".

Even if you mess up... there's really not much punishment these days for doing so. Now a training guide is one thing but they pretty much cover all the classes in most situations.
Okay I can see a reason for Beast Tamer needing a guide though... that's a bit more complicated and situational references and opinions are well deserved.
@IsGamer the I/L one is updated, what's the point in making a new one?
You seriously don't need to ask permission to make guides, if you make threads like this, people will plead for your work, it's something WE NEED.
I made it so people won't "lol" later, is just an advice, besides, I actually need to know if the people who own the outdated guides are not into this anymore so I can make decent guides to replace them, that's the main purpose.

About making guides, I can make them myself alright, I just wanted you guys oppinion tbh.

It took me a lot of time to write This cutie, but it didn't get stickied, and it got no recognition from any mod.

EDIT: the I/L department will be grateful, it's a dry ice in there.
