good for you!. Another advice is gather the features you like of different jobs and then look for the job that fit everything or almost everything.
For ex: you might like the ability of interacting with people like doctors. You might like crafting things like a dentists. You might like desgin things like an Arch-something (forgot the spelling of that thing but I guess you got it).
Looking for major/profession is pain in the ass, but once you find what you like, you will feel strong and excited about life. It took me 6 months of heavy thinking to realize who I was and what I wanted to do.

Either go undecided, or take a year off and think about it.
I'm going to advice you to not major in something stupid such as Music, dance, photography .. etc. Do not get me wrong. I respect those fileds, but the real world have no place for those things. If you love to sing, make it a hobby and try to spread your music through iTunes, youtube and other stuff, but do not major in Music. Major in something that you like to do and makes good $$.
History is a good start since it is a multi-disciplinary liberal art, however DON'T blindly go into school. Get a job and scout around, read books and then once you are sure of yourself go hardcore into school. Honestly there is a lot one can do with a History Major (in terms of transferring into Master programs) but it is better to double major these days.
@dryrain: Considered that, but never though too much about it. I'll look into it now.
@fun2killu: Honestly, I sorta like business/law (wouldn't like being a lawyer though), did psychology a few years ago, that was quite interesting. I don't know if there are different career choices when doing it though. tbh, a high earning job with a few job opportunities.
Engineering is death at university, but it's worth it since you can get paid 6 digit per year if you land a good job.
just dont do psychology
anything but psychology
Anything but art.
Medical radiography

I personally think real estate is a great career choice if you're well spoken and confident.
Until the housing market collapses......
I want to be a phone sex operator
philosophy, _____ studies, communication, etc
well what do you like?
you can go undecided in college and take a few classes which you find interesting. Then decide from there.
