As above people have said you need like 200k range to solo in reasonable amount of time, not within time limit. Sorry if my post confused anyone : Also I'd say it depends on your class cuz some have terrible mobbing+bossing capability (cough bishops)

For cannons it is extremely easy to kill normal gollux. Just kill is abdomen and his right shoulder, then sit on the left side of the map. Every once in a while jump to the middle, shoot your fireball to kill the crystal monster and then jump back to safety on the left side. You just need to see how far gollux can shoot his breath move, then just sit to the left of that and attack him constantly out of range of all his attacks

i solo normal in like 3 min with a 180k range
to kill it i doubt u need that much range. maybe with a 100k range u can kill it, might take time but u can.

200k is the range most classes need to be able to kill it in a reasonable amount of time. No one wants to sit in normal gollux for 15-20 minutes.

I did normal once, I have about 110k range currently. I did it, but it took about twenty minutes to kill the head, which I don't think is worth so I'm sticking to running easy gollux and farming coins ^__^v.

Depends on class.

Yep, u can solo easy since i can do it at 170 on my cannoneer. Kill both shoulders then body. hard part of the body is avoiding the roots. Good Luck.

@AuraShade86: Easy gollux can be killed with a range of under 50k if you know what you are doing. And if you need 200k range to solo normal gollux then you must not know how to fight him.

Normal only takes 100k to solo.
Heck, probably even less.

if you're fighting easy gollux:
1. you killed both shoulders and the abdomen
2. it's easy

Easy: 3/3 parts killed
Normal: 2/3 parts killed
Hard: 1/3 parts killed
Hell: 0/3 parts killed
