Whats good, Everyone. switch decision

Thinking about making the switch from DB to Shad.

Asura's anger is lovely but at 180k range being a DB isn't saying much.

I'm at level 178 most of my damage comes from my dagger and katara which aren't much to begin with.

Dagger is sitting at 280 att with 90% boss damage
Katara is 155att with 50%

a basic clean CRA set that im self scrolling so that's a work in progress.
a clean tyrant cape
30 att nox glove.
bits and pieces of gollux set.

basically my armor is all over the place But it's currently a work in progress since I'm training mules.

All I'm asking is would it be more beneficial to switch to shad? I'm not planning to change to NL cause.. I don't feel like buying a claw.

So.. what ya'll think stay DB and perfect my armor to see if it's worth it or switch to a shad. Side note; All i got is a 15att khanjar from like 6 years ago.

I have a Dual Blade and a Night Lord and I like both classes. I like Night Lord because of the bonus exp Showdown gives. I also just like Night Lords in general. I also like Dual Blades because of Phantom Blow and Blade Fury. Stick with what you think is fuN. Not because of the damage. My damage on my Night Lord is pretty mediocre for a level 200 and I've been told numerous times that I'd be better off switching to a Phantom or a Dual Blade. The problem is. I don't like Phantom's and I already have a Dual Blade. Plus Night Lord is hella fun.
I'm going through the same deadline. However I'm going to be changing to a night lord from dual blade. Just a quick question, will I still keep my katana and dagger and all my untraceable items, or do they disappear with job change. Thanks
Your gear doesn't disappear. However, when you do, it will get darkened and let you know that it can't be used and will need to be unequipped. Therefore, you should have in your inventory slots, a Claw and Death Sender Charm before switching or you may be without a good weapon until you do get one. IF you go DB - Shad (vice versa), it is okay. You just equip the right secondary and you will be fine.

I think Flash bang would be more viable as a bind skill. ^^ Can bind them from range and not have to worry about dying! ^^

CoH is pretty decent now for testing DR! ...but not for much else
Yeah a bind skill would be really cool.
Why does it bother you? It in no way affects you or your game play at all. So what if there is someone better than them, maybe they want to be better than that person and will work towards it. You have no reason to get tired or annoyed with anyone decision unless it affects you in some form.

As many people say (I'm a hypocrite but will still say it anyways) if you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything at all.
Well.... he also kinda has the freedom to express his opinion you know.. so......

Honestly you might see better numbers on shads for the harder hitting moves, but realistically a strong shad uses midnight carnival which is a 130% att skill I believe (something in the 100%s). Using assasinate and boom step is slow, while DB's phantom blow is decent speed. Personally I would actually compare the two in terms of which I like playing better / which I control better because at your range, they'll be about the same. They both will require a lot of funding to be good as well.

Shadowers hit heavy but they're kinda slow. DBs are much better at hitting multiple mobs multiple times.

keep db m8
db is kewler and u get pdr on db
dunno why ppl change jobs srsly at low rangers
dont really make difference
only 2m2m clown see results
or unless u are training with nl
db and shad are close enough, and db just have low range, dont mean they are weaker
also ur katara better than nub dkanjarz

At 180k range it doesn't really matter much, play whichever is more fun for you..
When you upgrade if you still don't know which you want to stick with just work on your dkhanjar or katara last

I did the same and switched to a shad, to be fair it was alright but i missed hitting alot of lines and being fast so i changed back the next day, if youre not aiming for damage as you say i would stick with db and save the money changing jobs for better use. Hope this helps

Usually I'd say you're right but considering I enjoy both classes equally and my reason for this character was to be the basis of my other characters I gotta disagree with ya.

I mean if you think about it if it was purely damage based I'd sell all my stuff and make a NW but I don't Swing with those so.. yeah.

Yes, but if one class deals more damage with the same funds, and "fun" has become a non-issue by this point, it would be quite rational to want to make the switch. I find Arans to be far more fun than Zeros, but Zeros provide more bang for my buck; and if I want to actually be able to boss, I'm going to fund a Zero, not an Aran.

OT: No clue.
