I dislike cc cause it felt like some damn cult trying to gather people to have some interwebs war.

I don't strive for attention, I never knew that me helping people on here was to get attention. If I wanted attention I'd make threads asking people to rate my look or to have them tell me something about me.

It seems you're the one who wants my attention, trying to call me out on false accusations, as I told Chris, I do not make myself out to be some angel, I am an asshole, and many people on here know this. BUT I do my best in helping people when they ask, so if that is what you mean by my circle jerk then that's by all means true as hell.

So please, take your crap and shove it where the sun don't shine, and do not bother me with anything else anymore.

@AntiSenpai: It really doesn't help that you're getting super defensive about this lol. You just dislike cc because there's no circle jerk for you to give you attention like there is on basil.

Lets stop all stop arguing. I've been on both sites and both sites have different views.

CC has freedom of speech but the layout seems to be like a clunky reverted Basil layout.
BasilMarket likes to suspend me for what other people get away with. [Note: I am not asking for free passes, as you may claim. I am asking for fair treatment]

As a user of both sites, CC does not censor my freedom of speech but still has a cuss censor which I don't mind. However, there are things I don't like that I'd rather not get into. As much as I am on BasilMarket, I'm not particularly for all the rules and regulations either; I'm just here to help people. If I am not welcome, sayonara~ As BasilMarket pushes me away, CC welcomes me with open arms. However, it felt as a sense of pulling me towards the site and away from here. [Makes me feel dirty]

I lurk the reddit sometimes too and I don't get that from there. All-in-all, using both I really don't see a point. People do the same exact [b]-insert word that I would get suspended for here-[/b] on both sites. As for the permit system, I don't really see a point to it as it's the same as the "Auto-win" feature here. I mean don't get me wrong, a lot of hard work was put in and it started from an idea but I don't see a point in it.

As a member of Sleepywood forums, I do wish it was back. [It was shut down during my hiatus] Thing is, I really dislike the censorship here as I can say much more but I do feel like the primary use for me and many others is to vent frustration of our experiences on there. A site for basil-rejects where everyone else and the trolls roam freely.

Uhm, excuse you? I do have an account there and the only two times I recall posting was for when I was cheating on Basilversary and when @MMORPG was getting "roasted", where I attempted to defend him from that crowd. My account on there was Senpai, not AntiSenpai, so please, keep your lies to yourself.

I think it's meant to be like a permit without needing to buy a permit in game. Or even having to go in game. Also just because something is similar doesn't mean it should be disregarded.

Why would you use SMS to send a message to someone? Can't you just write them a letter?

essentially, they're both maplestory forums and there's quite a few of those out there

the marketplace feature was meant to be more like online store permits as opposed to ebay style auctions on basil so there's no bidding + free unlimited listings (compared to using the free market)
i can't say if many people would have used it but i'd imagine it to be easier than auctions
also i like to swear a lot and basil won't let me :c

They are both social media outlets yes but different type of style. Twitter is meant for short sentences only. While facebook is meant to be a big social network. It's like facebook and myspace if anything. Eventually facebook out did myspace and ended up on top of the chain. Even though myspace still exists it's not as popular anymore. Now I don't want to say that the owner of that permit site intended any competition but for me I see no big differences from that site and this one except a fancy new skin on it. I never understood why they even tried that, if barely anyone uses Basil's auction system what made them think people would use theirs?

Basil has a much larger community than that fan site, so with common sense alone how did they think it'd work?

It was just a matter of time before that site got the boot, it always felt like they were trying to compete with Basil, always seemed like you had to choose one or the other and that just seemed too annoying to deal with.
