omg kmst just added 1 att speed into wand

after all the nerfs like removing stance/more delay on paralyze and we got this u kidding me nexon?and tahts a skill so it works just like magic booster. time to play my evan and he got a decent wand too. evan true master race

CL still has Critrate (Paralyze has DoT though), but also Freeze counter 30%
EDIT: wait, when did Paralyze have 8 lines? don't see that in the F/P changes
@BaconMmm don't forget the dmg per line dropped from 300% to 255% so overall CL nerf (barely. much better off compared to when they increased delay)

They should add like 5 or 10 percent damage for using staves though so the gap isn't so offensive

Although I heard the multiplier for Wands/Staves are 1.0x for non-Explorers... o.o

Seriously?
There's a 3 m.att base difference and even taking into account the few m.att less due to enhance it's not even close to being remotely better than the speed.

Now you know how it feels dealing with the 2H vs. 1H debate for Warriors, or higher weapon multiplier vs. faster attack speed.

Unfortunately, Wands and Staves have the same weapon multiplier (x1.00), so one way to balance out Staves is to simply increase its multiplier, going with what you said about having more %dmg if you use staff.

Even if the attack speed increases with wands, i'm still using my staff no matter what. I rather have high m.atk and normal speed than high speed with a little less m.atk.

I always used a wand just because staves were more expensive so I'm glad they changed it xD
Also I just never had the strength to lvl that boring mihile, so I've been stanceless mage for life

Hopefully they mitigate the differences between staff and wands somehow cause the main reason people use staves now is just a cause it has little more m.atk and resale value (cause BaMs). I hardly find atk speed +1 (from wands) a fair way to balance out the measly difference in m.atk. Perhaps they can maybe do something like more %dmg if you use staff and faster atk speed if you use wands or something just to make it a bit more even, not considering end-game. Like for Drks, they couldn't make polearms entirely useless to them (since they buffed spears so much) so why not do the same for staves?

So I/Ls get an 8 line CL now (assumes we still get 1 line from hyper skill), an ultimate LIghtning Orb that is fairly useful now, and I personally get a +1 attack speed for making the mistake of buying a wand when Fafnir weapons first came out. I'm starting to warm up to this patch.

Since wand has attack speed + 1 now, it has much more resell value since staves will no longer be used by mages except BaM. Staves' price will drop. Merchants in my world are already investing in wands now from my obs. Actually I just re-listed the fafnir wand in my shop to the same price as a staff (the market won't react so fast though. I'm just trying)

I played without the mihile stance for a very long time but once you get it, it becomes mandatory. I think it will be interesting to see everyones control without it.

Evans already hit the speed cap, equipping with a wand wouldn't matter.
