Mage

What is better?

Is the sweet water set better than the fafnir set or vise versa? I must know!

@jessy0245 A mage with 4 pieces SW + tyrant (sup gollux belt) can beat a godly funded mage with RA + tyrant (tyrant belt). But, they are both hitting cap on bosses now anyway, so I don't think it really matters.
I use full SW set, and they aren't godly scrolled or cubed, you can check out the dojo video anyway. New dojo time is 5:56, amma update that ss I guess.
Personally, I don't plan to sell my equips anyway, but if you do RA is definitely better. Not able to trade my sw set is probably the only bad thing about that set.
Actually, sw is theoretically better, due to you being able to also transpose tyrant->sw. Also, 160+ equips have a higher level of potential then 100-150, so you can get 1% more per line of potential. 12/9/9 becomes 13/10/10, and is definetly end-game. kind of don't see the point in full sw though, as you can do 50m caps w/o it
I actually had a lengthy debate about this with another basil user, turns out that even if you transpose your tyrants on, the ideal SW and Fafnir combinations give about the same bonuses in the end. However, the disadvantages of transposing tyrant(they become untradeble) and the fact that SW is much more expensive/hard to find make Fafnir vastly superior.

Seriously? Why though? It seems like the set effect for the sw is way better.

Fafnir > SW pretty much always, only class that might benefit more from SW set is Xenon (due to All stats)
