I use RS, throw the Fenrir around.
Sometimes I try out other skills like FT and I FC around to dodge some attacks or just move around.
When I can I do Combo Recharge and use Judgment.(When I already have Combo Drain on me.)

I'm 165, and I usually just use overswing and final blow. I make sure to use combo smash and fenrir to catch runners and sometimes tempest as well. I also use charge in order to close in on people or to push them away depending on what I'm doing. I try to fight big groups of people rather then trying to do 1v1 when possible.

Rolling spin + Drain + Fenrir is our combo.

Arans, pick up the Fist and Shield Buff! It's short, but soooo effective in a large mob. Most people don't even pick up these blessings. They just go for hearts.

The fist gives 300 battle attack. Fenrir + Fist = KO
The shield gives 6000 def.

Cornered by 2 NLs and when I got them in my hands, they FJ away.
Everyone got one upped in my team.
Maybe I've been having bad matchups my first few games.
I think I failed because I didn't know everything cost less combos in PVP.
I waited till 50 combos to use fenrir because I didn't know. So that's probably why.

For people who don't know:
Combo Smash = 10 Combos(In PVP)
Fenrir = 20 Combos(In PVP)
Combo Drain = 15 Combos(In PVP)
Judgement = 40 Combos(In PVP)

I don't know about Combo Barrier since I don't have. But if someone can quote and add.

I DO THAT TOO, but Rolling Spin is spammable, I spam rolling spin, drain, and then for the lulz use tempest.

I'm 106 and my Aran does just fine in pvp.. just put drain on before you jump in there, use overswing and smash, and you'll get 1k+
not even mentioning the up up ctrl attack.. coz i heard that nets some nice points too ;3

I spammed Final Charge, people get angry and report me for "hacking" Tips for Arans spam rolling spin, have drain on, and use judgement,fenrir, etc.

The general opinion on Basil about the Aran's PvP ability seems to be a mixed bag. I find this odd since pretty much every Aran I see dominates the field. They keep you frozen, can constantly heal themselves, and are the most mobile of all Warriors. I specifically watched one Aran who was kicking everyone's ass, and the entire match, he didn't die ONCE. I have yet to see another job pull that off, lvl 200 or otherwise.

You see, I've seen one marauder hack, allowing him to spam this on skill silly.
He got around 140+ kills by himself and still he came out with a measly 6K score. His IGN is MysticalBucc.
I really don't know how you would get 4K. Post a ss then I'll believe.

People who say @Kaife's fail, you have to realise that he, like me, is only lvl 125 (I checked the rankings) and you're like 15x. Don't forget that he hasn't maxed [b]any[/b] of his skills to lvl 30.

as a BaM, its annoyin tryin to fight mobs of people when theres an aran pushing everyone off the platforms. this includes brawlers too with backspin blow. you're not gettin that many points this way, its a pain to climb back up. stop it

Your either fighting wrong or your lagging. I get 2000-4500 points per round on my aran. My equipment is nothing special. You need to have proper character control in pvp to do well.

WHAT? I think it just you, maybe you just don't know how to use your Aran, I usually get first, i only come in 2nd/3rd if theres lag or a lv19x is going ham on everyone

I have absolutely no lag, but my attacks are ALWAYS choppy. Its like there is 1 sec cooldown after every swing. 1 sec doesnt sound so bad? Try casting overswing with hurricane and seige mode-ed arrows and bullets flying into you..

I bet if I didn't lag I would be 1st most of the time, even with so much lag, I usually manage over 1k

Umm, I'm level 50 and I'm usually 4th with about 700 points. Combat step+jump=FTW?

pvp just delays...there's like no lag, which mean nexon fails.

@YelloMelloFello: This is the answer. I've played with 2 other Arans just today and we dominated the middle platform.
Anyone other than our team who came on it died in 3-5 seconds. But I usually never have a fight like this unless it's set up.

@DevilZen: I've never played a DB and I'm sure you've never played Aran. Look Arans don't tank well. We're only good in a group of melee classes, so we share damage. We need to cover ourselves since we have less HP then regular Warrior classes and we don't much mobility. Our combat step is major delayed.
Arans are rare in PvP because they suck in most situations.

I've always lagged like a mofo, but I always get 1000+ on my aran o.0
I use Combo Up + Barrier + Booster + BP + MW + Ice charge at the safe plat, RS a group to get drain, and use RS when I lag, and OS when I don't.

Maybe Arans win cos there are tons of melee classes who attack next to them?
Maybe they lose cos there are ranged classes who keep running and sniping you?

Dude.. shut up. Whenever I see an Aran in PVP they're ALWAYS first. Always.

@Kaife: exactly we barely use any of our skills because of delay. If we use Rolling Spin which is all we pretty much can do we might hit them if their in range but if not then were screwed. I pick the 1st one aswell.

@Pitsta: Most of our skills are never used. All Arans spam Rolling Spin which is supposed to stun pretty well but it doesn't and its our only multi-hit attack so I get that.
But it seems everyone targets Arans why? I think it's because 1) we're easy pickings or 2) we are a threat. I pick the 1st one.

@Kaife: i think so, i barely even use triple swing let alone final blow because of the delay. The only skill that would be usefull is tempest since you use combo up but finding the skill book is another thing. Besides that it's hard to survive since you have sins hunting you down and cb/dbs teleporting all around you so by the time you attack they have already moved using bloody storm/assaulter.

You think it's because we haven't mastered all our skills yet?

no im just like you. My arans lvl121 and i feel so useless compared to other classes cause of the delay, i can't manage to survive long enough to do anything it's like 3-4 hits if your getting focused by someone then your dead. Combo drain is useless because of delay and all the other classes doing more digits then you. The most ive gotten is just over 200 points.
